- Compression Springs is the most commonly used open-coil helical spring. In its simplest form it is possibly the most economic spring to use by virtue of the lower material content and the speed at which they can be produced versus the amount of energy it can store.
- They are made from round, square, rectangular, trapezoidal, oval or even special shaped wire cross sections but round wire is by far the most common and easier to work with. Round wire is predominant in compression springs because it is readily available and adaptable to standard coiler tooling, also flat wire spring can also be manufactured depending your order and utility.
- The shape of the compression spring is mostly parallel sided i.e. of nominally constant diameter but is often seen as a conical shape and sometimes barrel or waisted(hourglass) shape. These alternative shapes are often again related to strength for volume but you are penalised for loss of a nominally linear spring rate.

We have the production facilities to manufacture a large range of extension springs, with either cross over or machine loops. We manufacture our range of extension springs of material such as:
- Spring Steel
- High Carbon Steel
- Nickel Plated Carbon Steel
- Stainless Alloys, etc.
We offer state-of-the-art production capabilities for the entire manufacturing process. While extension springs are most often produced using round wire and customized wire.
Our material size range is 0.30mm to 3.00mm. We are capable to offer customized springs and wire form and ensure the springs we produce are 100% compliant to your specifications and defect free.

- Garter springs are helical extension or compressed springs with the ends fastened together to form a ring. One end of the garter spring maybe coned or looped, depending on your specifications for the garter springs.
- Garter springs are primarily used to maintain controlled pressure of a radial lip seal on a shaft and to compensate for lip wear, changes in volume or stiffness of the elastomer caused by the fluid, and the effect of temperature changes and time.
- Other uses for garter springs include small motor belts and electrical conductors.
- Airedale springs and garter springs are engineered and manufacturer to provide a consistent and reliable product. They feature high initial tension to provide constant load and a special tapered end to assure a strong connection and a continuous near uniform body diameter.
