Rapsri is perhaps the largest bronze bushings manufacturer in India. Currently manufacturing approx. 400,000 bushes per month, Rapsri has an installed capacity to manufacture approx. 600,000 bushes per month.

While most of the production is machined into bushes and bearings in the comprehensive machine shop in house, Rapsri also supplies customers with bars, tubes and profiles to specified sizes and material specifications.

Rapsri manufactures a range of shaped castings that require high integrity in various engineering application areas. These castings are typically tough to produce with a few companies world wide with the metallurgical and machining capability to produce these parts. Rapsri leverages its strength in technology and research and development to position itself as a niche player for customers that recognize this premium.

Rapsri has developed a special shell molding process called 'Rapour' process which enables it to produce castings with higher integrity and superior properties as compared to conventional sand casting technology.

Rapsri is one of the oldest foundries in India using continuous casting technology for non-ferrous metals. Currently manufacturing approx. 40 Tons of rods/tubes/profiles per month, Rapsri has an installed capacity to manufacture approx. 90 Tons per month.

rapsri is one of the few companies worldwide that has the technology to cast copper and short freezing range copper alloys by the permanent mould process which is also known as the gravity die casting process. According to available information, rapsri is one of two inventors of this technology for copper and copper alloys- having developed this process in the late 1970s.
