Expansion clamps for  Bus Bars /conductors have best combination of mechanical and electrical properties. Bus Bar fittings are supplied in various options of connections to suit Bus, vertical, horizontal and parallel take off are available with single, twin or bundle connection and options for tube, stud, ACSR conductor.

Available both extruded and casted type in aluminium alloy for all sizes.
Universal type & bimetallic connection type also supplied on request.
Supplied in galvanized malleable iron for earthwires.

Available for EHV lines for corona free performances in multiple conductor systems. Spacers are available for flexible, rigid and armour grip type applications.  Products are designed to withstand tensile, slip, mechanical, compressive and fatigue endurance for longitudinal, horizontal and subspan oscillations including short circuit forces

Split Bolt Connectors are available in various sizes to suit single, twin connections for different diameters of conductors. Can be supplied in tinned copper, brass , aluminium for various applications.

RUL offers complete range of envelope design clamps from 6 mm dia to 55 mm diameter conductor. Clamp bodies and keeper pieces are cast in high strength copper free Al-Si Alloy and are also made in other alloys , heat-treated depending upon strength requirement. The U-bolt and clevis pins are of galvanized steel while split pins are of either brass or stainless steel. These clamps offer minimum power loss and heating due to hysteresis effect at higher currents.

 

Suitable socket / clevis eye are available as mating fittings.

 

Clamps are available to suit all sizes of conductors and Earthwires in various designs in all ranges.

 

Slip strength ratings approximate upto 30% ultimate strength of ACSR.

Supplied in aluminium for both open & close run types. Tap connections to suit specific requirement, Nuts bolts, washer are also supplied. Various options of connections to suit Bus, vertical, horizontal and parallel take off are available with single, twin or bundle connection and options for tube, stud, ACSR conductor.

 

Bimettalic arrangement can be provided on request.

Bolted tension clamps are available in  Aluminium alloy for all conductor & earthwire sizes. Compression type clamps are recommended for higher strengths requirements .

 

Socket ended clamps are also available also for sizes upto 100 sq.mm.

 

Higher Slip strength clamps are also available.
