Rave Filtration Systems Polypropylene Filter Housings are made of rugged reinforced polypropylene. They are recommended for low flow OEM equipment, residential reverse osmosis systems, recreational vehicles, food service equipment, Kidney dialysis equipment, humidifying systems and other low flow applications with pressures under 6 kg/cm2 and temperature up to 70°C. Rave Filtration Systems offer excellent chemical resistance characteristics. Smaller size and overall dimensions make them ideal for mounting in series. They are sealed with top seated Buna-N ‘O’ ring and BSP thread closure. Caps are manufactured of reinforced polypropylene and are available with ½”, ¾” and 1” BSP connections to match various flow rating and piping configurations.Housings are available in Blue/Black, White/White, Blue/White, and White/Blue combinations.

All housings have been tested and passed the hydrostatic leak and burst pressure to ensure consistence safe performance.

Caution For drinking water applications, do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the unit.

Warning All plastic housings must be protected against freezing. Failure to do so may result in cracking of the filter and water leakage.

The large capacity Jumbo Polypropylene Filter housings are available with either 1” or 1.5” BSP for versatility. The sumps are constructed of reinforced polypropylene and are available with pressure relieve valve. The larger body size allows for greater cartridge capacity, thus reducing the number of vessels normally required in parallel installation. Housings are made from polypropylene and compatible with a broad range of chemicals. The internal port has been enlarged from standard size to allow liquid to pass through with minimum restriction.

Graded density, high porosity, Spun flow HE is manufactured from thermally bonded polypropylene micro fibers offering high through puts, low pressure loss, high dirt holding capacity and long on stream life. The bonded fiber construction minimizes any possibility of fiber migration and is rugged enough to resist particle shedding, even under pulse conditions. Consisting only of pure polypropylene, spun flow HE are compatible with most chemical processes and containing no additives, leachables or extractable are compliant with the requirements of FDA for food and beverage contact. Elements can be incinerated to trace ash reducing disposal costs.

Nominal rated polypropylene wound cartridges are widely used as a pre-filter for economical filtration. It is available in different media and core for wider chemical compatibility.
