Rapid Mixer Granulator
Rapid Mixer Granulator

The rapid mixer granulator is a highly versatile mahcine suitable for dry mixing and wet granulation in the same bowl and in short time cycle. The complete operation is done within 10-30 minutes. The entire operation is performed in a closed dust free environment and the complete operation is automatic, including the discharge.

Description

  • The main assembly consists of a main mixing bowl made out of S.S. 316 quality, highly polished to give a mirror non-stick finish.
  • The bowl is provided with two impellers, the main mixing impeller is mounted vertically with a horizontal rotation and the chopper blade is mounted on the side and rotates in the vertical axis. The main mixing assembly is provided with four blades, two for mixing and two for pushing the material upwards. The complete assembly is mounted on a suitable bearing housing provided beneath the bowl with specially designed seal and air purging arrangement. The complete assembly is coupled to a suitable gear box and motor through a belt assembly. The mixing blade is provided with a dual speed motor for two sets of mixing RPMs and can optionally be provided with VFD for variable frequency.
  • The chopper  blade is a high speed blade with provided with specially designed blades to break the lumps into smaller granules with a short cycle time. The assembly is provided with a suitable bearing housing directly coupled to a suitable motor. The chopper rotation as a standard is at high speed can optionally be provided with VFD for speed variation.
  • The top of the bowl is a dish-end provided with mechanically balanced loads for assisting in opening and closing the top lid. It is provided with standard parts for charging, view and air vent parts. The top can optionally be provided with pneumatic lifting arrangement in place of the mechanical loads.
  • The discharge  is provided with a pneumatically operated valve for complete and automatic discharge at the end of the cycle. The valve is provided with suitable 'O' rings for leak proof operation.
  • The complete structure is mounted on a sturdy platform duty cladded with S.S. Dimpled sheets, provided with a stair case with railings. The sides of the platform are cladded with S.S. 304 sheets and mirror polished as per GMP standards.
  • An electrical panel of S.S. With the contactors, relays. Timers on -off push buttons for the main motor, on-off push button for the chopper motor, pneumatic open – close for the discharge valve etc. on the platform for ease in operation. The machine can optionally be provided PLC for fully automatic operation and data logging.

Fluid Bed Dryer
The Fluid Bed Dryer is a highly versatile machine for drying of granules, crystalline & coarse powders and similar materials for the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, dyestuff and allied industries.

Due to its unique design and flexibility, the drying time and loss of material is greatly reduced thereby increasing production.

Description

The operation of the fluid bed dryer is very simple whereby the drying of the material takes place by forced air circulation inside the chamber.

The atmospheric air is drawn through the air micron filter by a specially designed blower mounted on the top of the dryer. The clean air then passes through the heating elements (electric cheater / steam / thermic fluid radiator) to reach the required temperature. The hot air then passes through the product container and the product gets dries faster by air fludization. The air circulation is controlled by means of dampers. A Filter bag provided inside the drying chamber prevents the finest of particles of the material from entering the air stream. The main chamber is provided with on explosion flap to protect against pressure buildup inside the chamber. Digital temperature controller for the inlet air and temperature indicator for the outlet air comes as a standard.

Higher capacity models are provided with automatic operation like automatic bag shaker timer, pneumatic damper (butterfly valve) operation, process timer, sampling valve with bottle, etc is provided as a standard. Fully automatic operation with data logging through a PLC is provided as an option.

For higher capacity models the blower can be detached for mounting in the service area to reduce noise level and isolate maintenance from the production area.

  • All contact parts are S.S. 316 quality and the bottom chamber, blower chamber explosion chamber, supporting structure, trolley, etc are of S.S. 304 quality.

Octagonal Blender
Octagonal Blender

The octagonal blender is highly efficient machine for powder/powder mixing.

Description:

The main drum of the blender is coupled to a suitable motor through an oil filled gear box mounted on a sturdy frame structure. The unit is provided with a butterfly valve at one side and is provided with removable baffles inside the drum. The other side is provided with a manhole for accessibility inside the chamber for cleaning. An electrical panel is provided for housing the motor on-off starter, timer, inching device etc.

An optional charging hopper of 60 Ltrs capacity is provided with suitable clamping arrangement for charging the material into the drum.

Vibro Sifter
Vibro Sifter

The Vibro Shifter is suitable for the separation of granules. Powders and other similar products for the pharmaceutical, chemical, dairy, food, paints, ceramic, rubber, obrasives, plastic, printing ink, petroleum, cosmetics etc. industries It si bases on the gyratory principle and is provided with a single centrally mounted vibratory motor with adjustable eccentric loods for different vibration amplitudes.

Description:

The main hopper is directly coupled to the vibratory motor and is subjected to high amplitude vibrations in all three axis, due to which better sieving takes place. The hopper is provided with a radial outlet and specially designed 'C' clamps with gaskets to prevent leakage of the powder. It is provided with uniquely designed springs to the periphery to amplify the vibrations for better sieving and at the same time to prevent the vibrations from being transferred to the floor. Complete unit is mounted on a sturdy structure with castors upto 30 Dia. The hopper and the sieves are avialable in S.S. 316 & S.S. 304 quality depending on requirement. All non contact parts are made out S.S. 304 quality to suit GMP requirement. Non contact parts are also available in M.S. Duly painted for NON GMP applications. The units are also available in double & triple deck options for gradation of the material to two or three different grades.

Multi Mill
The multi mill is a highly versatile machine suitable for dry pulverizing of lumps to small particles of desired size by high shear action. The design is such that just by changing the screen the output particle size can be easily charged.

Description:

  • The machine is provided with a vertical rotor assembly with knife type swinging blades for pulverizing the lumps. The rotor is provided with two bottom scrapper blades for scrapping the material from the bottom plate and pushing it in the upward direction towards the knife blades.
  • It is provided with a circular perforated screen around the blades for better pulverizing action.
  • The main shaft of the rotor assembly is coupled to a step pulley through a bearing housing which in turn is coupled to a suitable motor through a belt assembly.
  • The speed of the rotor can be changed by changing the position of the belt in the step pulley. The speed selection is to be made depending on the material and the final size of the particles.
  • The complete assembly is mounted on a suitable pillar stand with a sturdy base and castors for movability.

Ribbon / Mass Mixer
Ribbon / Mass Mixer

The mass mixer is suitable for mixing of wet mass, dry powder, dry powder with wet mass, etc, for the preparation of pharmaceutical mass for preparing tablets and similar other applications. The mass mixer gives through mixing due to its unique blade design and the angle of the blade.

Description

  • The mixer is provided with a U shaped trough with a centrally mounted shaft passing laterally through the trough. The shaft is provided with a set of blades welded at different angles each blades has a dedicated mixing function. The angle of the blades is such that through, efficient and complete mixing of the material takes place. The material due to the unique blade design is subjected to lateral as well as vertical motion and the complete material is rolled inside out and for bottom to top, due to which complete mixing takes place and a homogenous mass is obtained.
  • The control shaft is provided with gland packing at both ends for complete sealing.
  • The central shaft is coupled to a suitable gear box and a suitably powered motor. The complete assembly is mounted an bearing blacks bolted to the frame of the machine.
  • The machine is provided with a manual tilting mechanism of the side with gear mechanism for unloading the material into the collecting tray (motorized tilting for higher capacity models available as an option). The trough can be tilted in the front up to 90 Degrees by rotating the handle provided at the side.
  • The mixer is provided with a sliding and open able top  cover with safety guard so that the operator does not accidentally put the hand inside the trough when the machine is in operation. The top cover is provided with a limit switch to stop the machine as soon as the top cover is opened.

Coating Pan
The coating pan is conventional system for film / sugar coating of tablets, capsules, peppermints, and similar other products.

Description:

The coating pan basically consists of a pear shaper S.S. Pan mounted on an angular structure. The pan is directly coupled to a suitable gear box. The gear-box and motor are coupled through a suitable belt driven assembly with 2 step pulley. The complete is housed inside a suitable tubular framework with S.S. Cladding.

The complete assembly is provided with a hot air blower with electrical heaters for drying the sprayed solution. An electrical panel houses the various controls for the main drive blower digital temperature controller for the blower, etc. The coating pan comes in various production on sizes from 12'' Deg for R&D purposes to upto 60'' Dia for large scale production.

Tray Dryer
Tray Dryer

The tray dryer is a conventional drying machine suitable for drying of powders, granules, and similar other materials.

Description:


  • The material is loaded into trays which are placed inside the main chamber. The drying takes place by forced air circulation with the help of blowers provided at the side. The air inside the chamber is heated by tubular air heaters provided at both the sides of the main chamber. The other farms of the heating media are steam and thermic fluid. An electrical panel is provided for controlling the various parameters of the dryer.
  • The dryer is provided with a rack system for loading of the trays one above the other. The material is loaded into the trays provided separately and placed inside the racks provided. (A trolley is provided in case of larger dryers for loading and unloading oil of the trays).
  • The drying takes place by for forced circulation of the air inside the chamber with the help of the fan (blower) provided at one side. The moist air can be exhausted from the dampers on top of the dryer and  fresh air is drawn in through the inlet at the bottom side of the dryer. The inlet is provided with suitable air filter to have clean dust free air into the chamber.
  • The require temperature inside the dryer can be set in the digital temperature indicator cum controller provided in the panel. The helps maintain the temperature inside the chamber constant with a variation 2-3 degree above and below the set-point. The complete dryer is provided with glass wool/ceramic wool insulation to minimize heat loss.

  • Products requiring higher drying temperature (upto 300 Deg . C) can easily be dried in the tray dryer.

Colloid Mills

The calloid mill is suitable for homogenizing, mixing, emulsification, dispersion of liquids, ointment, creams, and other similar difficult to mix products.

Description:


It works on the rotor – stator principle. The complete assembly is provided with serrations for better mixing. Better mixing can also be obtained by adjusting the gap between the rotor and the stator by the handle provided. The product is subjected to a high shear action in the rotor – stator assembly due to which the particle reduction takes place. The material is then pushed out through the outlet for further process or for recirculation.

The mill is optionally provided with a cooling water jacket and a mechanical seal for leak proof operation.
