The use of these systems by installers, electricians and panel builders ensures reduction in labor costs and cables expense. These systems effectively connect widely separated sites, by effectively converging the monitoring and control signals to a centrally located supervisory and control equipment. Such types of systems usually range from simple push buttons and lamps to multi-channel BCD data transmitters and receivers(covering analogue, counters, etc.) These systems can also be interfaced with PC internet, with control programs based on them. Being fully bi-directional, these systems can be provided with cables branching into many directions and also allow for any point tapping (input or output) of the signal as many times as required. Use of these systems allows for ease of integrating and entitles flexibility in the electrical installations for public or commercial buildings, as well as industrial processes.
