About Us

The business of manufacturing gears was first developed in 1950 at Mumbai (Bombay) under the name of M/s Prospect Mechanical Works. Our business excelled in the field of manufacturing of All types of industrial gears, pinions with the recent development in Gearboxes. In 1980 from one M/s. Prospect Mechanical Works there were seven factories put up in Mumbai (Bombay). Hence we come to you under the name of M/s. R. D. Engineering Works.

R. D. Engineering Works was established in the year 1982 at Goregaon in Mumbai where our present works is situated.

Since then we have expertise in the field of Gears and Gearboxes.

We are the fourth in generation of this family managed business. Our name is well-known to second to none in the gear industry.

Our Scrap material goes to scrap dealers where recycling is done, so in this way we try to do our bit for the eco system.
