We offer premium quality chemical earthing electrode, which is manufactured from custom-made I.S.I tube to ensure maximum conductivity and prolonged service life. These chemical earthing electrodes contains a conductor rich crystalline mixture, which protects the main earth electrode in the soil. This will ensure a highly conductive state for the fault current to pass on to earth.

  • Unique Infill Compound (I-F-C) is used that helps to create the balance & consistence ohmic value within the safe limit without any fluctuation of results
  • Its layer also works as a highly conductive path to pass the fault current and resolves the problem of earth to neutral voltage difference
  • It also gives the life to the Electrode through its layer between electrode & direct soil, so mimise the chances of corrosion
  • This also enables the ‘compound’ - electrode interface, that expands and contracts thus reducing the surge impedence



Back Fill Compound

Marbengyp-50 back fill compound is a conductivity improver compound. Back fill compound is a specially developed compound for having quality of highly conduciveness, non corrosive, absorbing & retaining the moisture for a long time. Back fill compound reduces the soil resistivity, it helps in faster dissipation of fault current, least fluctuation of OHMIC value and it eliminates the use of Salt. Charcoal, etc. around the earthing electrode.

Recons offers three type of direct strike protection systems (lightning arrestors), which include the full package of air terminals and accessories. 

LPI® Guardian System 5 provides a purpose-designed package for direct lightning protection. The Guardian System 5 has been tested in compliance to IEC Test Standard: IEC 60-1:1989.

The Recons Stormaster ESE range of terminals provides a safe and efficient system for the protection of your facility from direct lightning strikes. The Stormaster ESE range of terminals have been fully tested in accordance with NF C 17-102 in a high voltage laboratory.



Silicon Rectifiers

Silicon rectifier is an equipment that converts AC into DC supply. RECON’S make silicon rectifiers are widely used in Electroplating, Anodising, Hydrogenation and all other Electrochemical processes. RECONS automatic voltage stabilizers are auto wound transformers having helical coils mounted on a conventional laminated core. Carbon Rollers assembled on a fiber glass carrier board traverse the length of the Coil Track. These rollers are electrically connected to the output terminals and as they are driven over the track, a variable voltage is obtained.

Beneath the regulating coil a number of compensating winding are connected in parallel and short circuited to reduce the effect of core-flux ‘fringing’ and keeps the reactance of the regulator fairly constant at any position of the rolling contact. The variations of more than ± 1% of the rated output voltage of the stabilizers are sensed through solid state relay which sends signals to the controlling RECONS  motor which further drives the roller mechanism in such a direction so as to increase or decrease the voltage and stabilize it to the rated output voltage. Solid State Relay operates on 230 V, 1Ø supply.

H.T. automatic voltage stabilizers are used to get stable input voltage for individual Distribution Transformer, irrespective of High / Low Voltage being received from Electricity Authority. These are installed on the input side of the Transformers. It also prevents the Transformer from getting overloaded.

RECONS automatic voltage stabilizer takes care of wide voltage variation ranges, sleeplessly and in ON LOAD condition, leading to full load utilization of the Transformer, installed.

RECONS Stabilizer Comprises Of :

Automatic Power Factor Controllers

In view of constantly rising power tariff & penalties imposed by the State Electricity Boards / Utility companies, it is imperative for any HT & LT Industry / Consumer to install an automatic power factor controller system for curtailment of Power Factor penalty and also to Save Energy by consistently maintaining higher power factor. Low Power Factor leads to poor power efficiency, thereby increasing the apparent power drawn from the distribution network. RECONS  has a wide range of Isolation Transformers which reduce the effects of power Line problems like noise, spikes, surges, transients and neutral, to a minimum.

Power generation in our country, is no doubt good and availability of continuous power is Certainly better, but the stringent requirements of the sophisticated equipment being used today underlines necessity of clean power.

Owing to inductive loads, capacitive loads, SMPS loads, electronic ballasts and with PWM Switching systems, the present AC Power lines are superimposed with dangerous spikes, Surges, transients, sags and RFI noise and harmonics.
As a result failure rates of electronic equipment are on the rise. Without adequate protection, All electronic equipment is at a great RISK.

Usually the failures are not seen right away. Repeated stress from normal electrical transients weaken components and lead to shortening of component life. Line noises like spikes, surges, transients and so on definitely cause stress on semi conductor components. And Machine Systems experience catastrophic program and software failures, extensive damage to PLC’s and storage media, leading to heavy losses of production, data and man-hours.

With RECONS  isolation transformers all types of electrical noises, particularly common mode noises, spikes, surges and transients can be eliminated.



Variable Voltage Auto Transformers

Variable voltage auto transformers is a continuously variable voltage transformer, having a single layer winding on a toroidal core of high grade Cold Rolled Grain Oriented Steel. On one face of the copped winding, along the periphery, a special durable contact surface is made. A specially designed carbon brush slides smoothly on the surface. A contact arm holding the contact brush is fitted to the central shaft and as the control knob is rotated, the carbon brush slides over the winding and taps off a portion of voltage across the winding. Any desired voltage within the maximum range can be obtained by adjusting the position of the brush. The calibrated dial reads approximately the output voltage at no-load, when the input is at its rated value. Rotation of the brush arm by manual of motor drive delivers an output voltage from zero to or above line voltage.

Variacs fitted with voltmeter, ammeter, fuse, switch, pilot lamp etc. can be made in Enclosed type models with extra cost. For the control of the contact arm for a remote point, or automatic control of the output voltage, Variac can be made with a motor drive. The motor is coupled to the central shaft of the Variac and as motor rotates, the contact arm moves over the plated surface. The motors are noiseless in operation and work on 240 – 50 Hz single phase AC. The rotation of the motor can be reversed by interchanging the motor connection by means of a SPDT switch.
