Acceleration Sensors based on strain gauges are manufactured for Uni-axial or Tri-axial configuration. Any conventional strain measuring equipment can be used for its signal conditioning / monitoring / recording. Another range of acceleration sensors based on MEMs sensing elements are developed with built-in electronics. Uni-axial and Bi-axial models are available. These are capable of measuring AC Accelerations (Typical of Inertial or Gravity induced acceleration).

The former are more suitable for monitoring vibration of structures in lesser frequency response requirement (say upto100 Hz) where as latter find their suitability in preventive maintenance of machinery. Tilt measurement, Motion Sensing and Security Systems / Vibration Monitoring etc.. Bi-axial models with direct digital output are suitable for integrating into special purpose machine.

High precision Load Cells in all capacities (300gm. to 300 tons capacity), available in types for application in tension and / or compression, or compression only. Load Cells are manufactured in different constructions such as S type, Disc (pan cake), Canister or Shear beam etc. or the Load cells with Central Hole etc..

Application specific accessories/attachments available to help user to measure load/force precisely.

Inductive sensors for displacement monitoring, (LVDTs) of different full stroke range (0 to 1 mm to 0 to 600mm) are available in different types (AC or DC LVDTs) in different sizes (8mm dia, 9.5, 12.5, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 32 mm dia), in different constructions (with or without spring loaded plungers, with mounting flanges or with body threads). Separate mounting blocks are also available.

Special purpose LVDTs include large bore types, high temperature applications, harsh industrial environment compatible and gaging LVDTs etc. DC-LVDTs with 4-20mA output with 2-wire or 3-wire configuration or DC output are available with unipolar or bipolar excitation.

Position Sensors also known as DRAW WIRE SENSORS are available in various ranges from 50mm full stroke to 15 meter full stroke. Long range position measurement upto 15 meters is done using spring loaded cable extension. Potentiometer, strain gauges based sensor element or optical encoders are used for sensing the position. Available choices for outputs are potentiometeric / voltage / 4-20mA for potentiometric type sensors, bridge output for strain gauge type or SSI for encoders type sensors.

Pressure sensors & transmitters by Record Tech Electronics for absolute, gage or differential pressure monitoring applications provide cost effective solutions to various needs of industry. Available ranges are from 0-15 psi upto 10000 psi. Media could be air or fluids compatible to 17 - 4 stainless steel. Various process connections are available. Sensors with miniaturized built-in electronics provide ease in use. 4-20mA output with 2-wire or 3-wire configuration or amplified voltage outputs are available as options.

For monitoring various parameters, one often needs a dedicated signal conditioner with or without display. Very high frequency response signal amplifiers with frequency response of 1MHz or 500KHz or 200KHz, 100KHz or 10KHz for inputs from Quarter, Half or Full Strain Bridges, sensors, accelerometers, voltages etc..

Plain "ANALOG-IN-ANALOG – OUT kind".

Signal Conditioner with digital display with or without analog voltage output or 4 – 20 mA output are also available. These Readouts have built-in sensor excitation source for the sensor. Models are available that can be networked.

Microprocessor based indicators can be interfaced with computers, can be programmed to display in different engineering units of the same parameter (such as psi, kg/cm2, pa or kpa or mpa etc.), can be programmed with several calibration curves to let such indicator be used as a dedicated indicator say for 4 different load cells.
