Secondary Current Injection Test Set This set has been designed keeping in view the requirements of field and laboratory. Sets are portable, light in weight, have all the technical features for testing relays and contactors. Special Features:
Brief Technical Detail: This set is designed for working on 220/ 230V single phase 50 Hz AC supply and complete with power ON-OFF indicator, circuit ON indicator. Each circuit shall have push button actuated, relay/ contractor to control the output of the circuit. All these circuits and components shall be housed in rigid PVC suitcase with carrying handle or wheels in case of higher capacity. Current Circuit: To Inject current of desired value in the relay/ contactor. This circuit consists of loading transformer, selector switch, variable control, fine adjustment. Depending upon specific requirement, percentage selector switch can also be provided to inject current at various multiples. The current injected is indicated by Ampere Meter. For large range the ammeter has a multiplier or current transformer. Voltage Control: Circuit supplies voltage independently as per requirement. The continuously variable voltage or fixed tap voltage can be provided as desired. AC, DC or both voltages can be provided along with corresponding metering, indications, switches etc. Phase Circuit: This is incorporated only when special type of relays are to be tested.The phase angle between voltage & current is developed to obtain current operational parameters of the relay. Time Circuit: Digital Timers with freezing facility is provided for recording the operation/ tripping time of relays. | Induced Over Voltage Test Set Introduction: Induced Over Voltage Test Set is used for testing the strength of insulation between turns and between other points of the Transformers etc. as stipulated by BIS or other standard specification. For this test Double voltage is applied across L.T. terminals for one minute, and to control the magnetising current over voltage frequency is applied. It is an independent unit having coupled Motor and Generator with Control Panel to control the motor and the output voltage. Depending upon design requirements AC or DC motors are used. Brief Technical Detail: The Control Panel consists of direct on-line starter or Star-Delta depending upon capacity of the setup. Moving coil Voltmeter and Ammeter are provided to indicate the output voltage and current. Frequency meter is provided to check output frequency. While for measuring input voltage and current, moving iron type meters are used. Other included parts consist of variac, indicators, control switches, and operator safety features. In case of DC motor, DC drive is used to control/vary the frequency.

Contact Resistance Meter Introduction: Contact resistance micro-ohm meter model RE-CR-100 is capable to measure resistance between 0.1 micro ohm to 2milli ohm. The instrument can provide test current between 10%-100%(100Amp-600Amp) subject to the load resistance and supply voltage. The system uses four terminals-two for current supply and two for resistance measurement. The unit has high current capability and is of compact design suitable for testing high current contacts for circuit breakers, switches, bus-bar joints and other application where high current junctions exist. | Spark Tester Introduction: 'RE' High Voltage Spark Testers are designed for checking the quality of PVC coated wires during manufacturing at shop floor. The PVC wire is passed through brass ball chains which carry high voltage. If any pin hole comes in PVC, a spark develop and electro-magnetic counter counts the fault. Impulse Generator Application: Impulse Voltage Generator is required for the application of Lightning Impulse Voltage of duration 1.2/ 50 µs between the capacitor terminals and body. The load capacitance will be of order of 1.0pF to 20nF (generally as per IS-13340-1993 and other relevant specifications)

Cable Fault Burning Unit
The unit is in two parts:
The Main Transformer will be step up type and will have OFF load tap changer for each voltage. Casted wheels shall be provided for ease of movement. The control Panel cum Regulating Transformer will have zero start interlocking with by-pass switch. It will have tripping on the primary side and also Ammeter, Multirange Voltmeter calibrated to indicate secondary voltage shall be provided. The unit can be used as High voltage tests upto 1000V. The unit will be designed for 5 minutes duty and will have sufficient capacity for burning fault. The Main HV Transformer and the Regulating Transformer will be oil cooled type. |
