Salient Technical Features:

 

Construction:

 

Frame:

• The frame is four part welded construction with heavy duty rolled steel plates of fusion welding quality
• It is connected by four tie rods
• All the parts are fully stress relieved and the deflection would be perfect within the set design parameters

 

Slide:

• A slide is rolled steel plate welded construction with heavy members
• It is fully stress relieved and is precision engineered for close tolerances
• Slide is guided fully throughout the stroke length with j8 point guide way system with adjustment from all 8 points
• Liners of non-metallic phenolic material are provided, which are replaceable
• Plunger guides are provided for accurate guiding of the slide to maintain close clearances between punch & die resulting in optimum quality product output and enhanced life of tools
• Slide adjustment can be provided by motorized screw adjustment

 

Clutch & Brakes:

• Pneumatic friction minimum inertia clutch and brake systems are provided to prevent overload on motor
• These also provide movement of slide at desired position

 

Counter Balancing:

• The slide is counter balanced with pneumatic cylinders of suitable capacity for easy slide adjustment
• Also for preloading of bearing towards the direction of load there by enhancing the life of bearings

 

Drive:

• The drive is through flywheel, pneumatic clutch & brake and rolled and hardened teeth gearings with two point loading

 

Lubrication:

• A centralized oil lubrication system is inbuilt for supplying lubricant to all important parts with a pre-settable control with on and off delays

 

Overload Protection:

• Hydraulic overload protection is provided for total safety of tooling and slides

 

Safety:

• We have provided appropriate safety guards for motor & flywheels

• Two hand push button operations are also provided

• An electronic safety guard can be provided on client’s special request
