Established in the year 2009, we, “Redwing Wines Private Limited”, are a trusted name in manufacturing and supplying Wines. Our organization is a limited liability (privately held) corporation originated by a group of entrepreneurs, who comes from different field but has a common passion for wine making. Every director of us is a successful industrialist and comes from agricultural background. Some of their forefathers was leading grape growers of the country. Now the younger generation wants to convert best grape fruits to the superior quality wine.

Due to their committed, process centric and quality work approach and luck of getting perfect environment to grow best wine grapes in Nashik valley, we have become the prime winery built of current times. For achieving better results, we are also into regular learning process from world famous wineries, the experience got is duly incorporated in manufacturing process. Our dedicated endeavors had helped us maintaining the specialties like taste and aroma of our wines in their natural form. For preparing and handling these wines, we have hired world most famous Italian wine maker 'Mr. Andrea Valeninuzzi', who have more than two decades of experience in wine making. Our vast resources and advanced infrastructure also allow us to meet the bulk requirement of our customer. Perfectly bottled, these wines are available in red and white variant for our esteemed customers.

Regular quality testing and temperature maintenance is also conducted on the grapes and produced wine for keeping their properties intact. We are quality driven organization and for ensuring this have developed a fully equipped lab and testing room for quality testing and control analysis. Temperature plays a vital role in maintaining natural parameters of wine and that is why our wine grapes are harvested majorly in the month of Feb & March. Because, during this period the temp. Ranges between 30 to 35 degree C. For achieving better quality wine, the temperature of of harvested grape is controlled using a specially designed “tubular coil type heat exchanger” for our Red and White wines. During wine making and aging a “chilling plant” takes care of maintaining optimal temperature. Our chilling plant has a capacity of 20 liter capacity and the temperature range between 30 to 15 degree C.

We have developed a state-of-the-art winery at Nashik (Maharashtra, India), which is known as the grape city of India. Our plant is spread over a sprawling area 3.5 acre and started with an initial 2500 kilo liter tank capacity at its first instance. Various units of our infrastructure includes well maintained labs, aging rooms and wine making equipment & machines procured from Italian manufacturers. We also possess a wide range of fermented / storage tanks of varied capacities for conducting every operation and keeping the wine at a proper temperature. Our cellar is equipped with modern facilities and has a total capacity of 230KL that s separated in 18 leg mounted tanks for fermentation process.

These cellars are available in following capacities:

• 25 kl – 2 nos.
• 20 kl – 5 nos.
• 15 kl – 2 nos.
• 10 kl – 2 nos.
• 7.5 kl – 2 nos.
• 05 kl – 2 nos.
• 2.5 kl – 2 nos.

Our machines and tools are purchased from Velo, Italy based organization and includes below mentioned equipment:

• Destemmer
• Crusher
• Mono pump
• Pneumatic press
• Transfer pump set
• Kesalger filter (all have capacity @ 5 tones / hour)

We pay utmost important to viticulture process as 90% of the wine is prepared in wine yard. Several factors that help us in producing best quality wine are given underneath:

• The grapes used in processing of our wine procured from vendors situated at Nashik (the heart of the wine capital of India)
• Cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc, shiraz and chenin blanc varieties of grapes a majorly grown in Nashik for making all kind of wines
• This area’s soil beholds the basic key to produce high quality grapes that in return helps in producing quality wine
• Balanced climate, knowledgeable viticultural practices and perfect soil makes Nashik region best grapes cultivator (essential for quality wine)

Selection of grapes:

Our selection process includes these steps:

• Soil analysis by our skilled lab analysts for to finding out best soil to grow top quality berries
• Our procurement agents personally visit to farms for picking rightly ripen grapes
• The selected farms are further checked for degree & date of ripening that includes analysis of maturity and individual berries sugar content [brix]
• After that grape bunches are harvested using hand [usually between late Feb to end of March]
• Hand harvesting is usually done during early hours of the day for getting best out of the best
• Over & under ripe berries are discarded
• Harvesting in early hours helps grapes in retaining their flavor & aroma
• After harvesting, we bring berries in fully temperature controlled vehicle for holding back their volatile senses
