I. Installation:

• Pulley grooves should be free from rust, oil grease, dust and burrs.
• Pulleys should be properly aligned
• Incorrect alignment may result in belts short life
• The belts should be of the correct section and length
• new and old belts should not be mixed together
• All belts to be used should be from one manufacturer only
• While installing belts, move motor inwards to enable belts to be placed on the pulleys
• Never force bets over pulleys. After shifting motor outwards for tensioning, check shaft and pulley alignment

II. Maintenance:

• Check belt tension regularly
• Belts shoudn't be exposed to direct sunlight
• Belts should kept away from oil, grease and dust
• Never use old and new belts together. if one belt needs to be changed, then change the whole set
