Our organization offers a comprehensive range of Cross Carmolose Sodium. This is an internally cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, which is used as a disintegrate in pharmaceutical formulations. These are formulated, first by soaking crude cellulose in sodium hydroxide. Later, these are reacted with the cellulose along with sodium monochloroacetate. This helps to form effective sodium carboxymethylcellulose. Moreover, excess sodium monochloroacetate slowly hydrolyzes to glycolic acid, wherein the glycolic acid catalyzes the cross-linkage to form croscarmellose sodium. We offer these chemicals in USP grades.
