Brake Motors are offered for various applications requiring almost instantaneous stopping of the driven load. These motors are offered in frame sizes 63 to 225m. their operations is of 'fail safe' type. i.e. the brake is applied, when, power to the motor is switched off, or, if power failure occurs.

A Brake Motor is an integral combination of an A.C. induction motor and a disc type, fail safe, electromagnetic brake unit. It consists of the following:

• A.C. Induction motor


• Encapsulated brake coil housed in the non-driving end End-shield.


• Brake liner attached to the armature disc at its interface with the cooling fan


• Cooling fan.


• The rectifier unit is provided inside the Terminal Box. It converts A.C. supply into D.C supply for Brake coils.

These Vibratory Motors are totally enclosed 3Phase, Squirrel cage induction motors with adjustable, eccentric weights mounted at both the ends of the shaft, to set up vibrations during rotation. The design of shaft and the selection of bearings has been carefully done to withstand heavy radial loads.

APPLICATIONS:- These motors are used in various material handling equipment’s such as vibrating screens, conveyors, and feeder. They are also used on hoppers, silos to prevent congestion of material flow. Foundry shake ­ outs and compacting machines use these motors for fast and efficient operation

Crane duty motors are specially designed for service on cranes and hoists. They can also be used for similar applications such as material handling, weirs and sluices, and lifts of all types. These motors can serve as auxiliary motors in rolling mills or wherever intermittent drives are required. These are duty type rated motors developing high starting torque with low starting current. The motors are suitable for frequent starts/stops and reversals. Also rapid acceleration is achieved by high pull out torque/rotor inertia ratio.

The Blower consist of an impeller mounted directly on a motor shaft and is rotated at a high speed of about 3000 R.P. M. On the periphery of the impeller are a large number of radial blades. The impeller os positioned between 2 end plates with the blades located with a channel on either side.

The turbine blower is, ineffective, a multi stage compressor with each regeneration of the air becoming another "stage".
The basic construction of a turbine blower means that the only moving part is the impeller. Nothing touches except bearing. The method of compression means that there is no requirement for lubrication in the compression chamber. The discharge air is oil-less. No Oil aerosols are present in the discharge air, nor carbon dust generated by sliding wanes. the blowers should be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Turbine blower is designed to meet the most critical application requirements. Each features an impeller, mounting base and housing manufactured of aluminium for maximum strength, reduced weight an increased corrosion resistance. The blower is constructed as a unit for mechanical simplicity and maximum structural integrity. The elimination of clutches, gears and belts and sliding vanes reduced periodic maintenance requirements while increasing reliability. All blower's impellers are dynamically balanced to virtual eliminate vibration while increasing overall long-term reliability. All the models have a shaft oil-seal between the impellers and bearings as well as double shield bearing to reduce the possibility of foreign material in influx and preclude air contamination.
