APPLICATION
Riddhi mill has been specifically designed for wet and dry granulation, pulverization or dispersion of products or ingredients found in the pharmaceautical, Chemical and food industries.It is also finds application in Cosmetics, confectionery, Fertilizers, Insecticides, detergents and Electroflux Industries etc.

OPERATION
Product kept in the hopper slide down to the enclosed chamber, where it is milled in between beaters and screen to the required mesh/micron size which can be collected at the bottom of the container.
Quality and output depends upon the three main variables

  • Beaters shape (knife/impact forward)
  • Speed and
  • Screen size.

Knife edge for coarse or large particles and impact or flat edge for finer particles. Highspeed for fine griding, low speed for coarser particles. A wide range of screens is available for various process needs.

DESCRIPTION
Latest improvements in design makes this unit a truely GMP model and Versatile in operation & maintenance. Unit consist of S.S.304 quality hopper, feed throat and processing chamber (can be provided in S.S.316 quality at extra cost ) with beaters assembly , heavy duty motor, star delta starter with overload relay, three speed step pulley, suitable screen , S.S. cladded base having tubular legs with castors, optional jacket for the feed throat and processing chamber for cooling.

'REVA’  DRUM BLENDER MACHINE (G.M.P. MODEL)

The unit is specially made for dry mixing, blending etc. The mixer is supplied complete with 1No.  Stainless Steel 316 drum having an airtight lid, with quick closing and opening clamps. The capacity of the drum is 200 liters, and it can mix 50 to 80 kgs. of material. The Drum is driven in slanting position and therefore a three dimensional motion is obtained which gives very good and efficient mixing. The machine works on 1.5 H.P.440 volt  motor with reduction  gearbox. All contact parts are made out of S.S. 316 quality and Body cladded with S.S. 304, 18 Gauge sheet. Stainless Steel parts polished as matt finish by 120 grit.

FLUILD BED DRYER : SPECIFICATION FOR 120 KG FBD GMP

OPERATION
Fluid Bed Dryer is designed to introduce the hot air stream at the /base of the product container which is filled with the material.  Induced draught is created by means of blower and fresh air is sucked into the unit.  This hot air stream expands the material at certain velocity and creating turbulence in the product.  The phenomenon is known as fluidisation and offer conditions which are almost for drying.  Fluidisation produces full agitation of solid particles by hot air, heat transfer is extremely high and uniform.  The product is dried fast without appreciable loss of heat.  Filter bags prevent particle escaping from the dryer.

SUITABILITY
The conventional drying method of drying product in tray dryer is rather inadequate and troublesome.  They occupy large floor pace, have very high drying time, are labour intensive and offer uneven drying.  On contrast fluid Bed Dryer occupy comparatively lesser floor space, are very easy to operate and can dry material in least time as compared to tray dryer.

In Fluid Bed Dryer, temperature distribution throughout the product is uniform and the heat transfer rate is very high.  Due to the reduced drying time high production rates are achieved.

As the product is in close contact with the drying air at low temperature, and also for short duration, the physical and chemical properties of the products are generally not effected and therefore the dryer can effectively be used for heat sensitive products.  Due to the continuous movements of product during drying, lump formation, case hardening etc. are minimised.

The Fluid Bed Dryer are most suitable for drying, granular, crystalline, coarse or similar material in pharmaceutical, fine chemical, fine chemicals, dyes, food, allied products. The Fluid Bed Dryer is not suitable for drying liquids or pasty  materials.

DESCRIPTION
RIDDHI Mixer has been well-designed to facilitate thorough mixing of dry or damp materials and is especially suitable for tablet granulation. The powerful geared drive and sturdy mixing paddle make RIDDHI Mixer ideal for dealing with difficult or sticky ingredients. This is one speed Mixer but two speed machine available on demand.

CONSTRUCTION
The Mixer consists of Mixing drum complete in itself. It contains mixing drum body. Mixing paddle and sealing arrangement. The drum rests on rigid M.S. fabricated body carrying Motor, Gear box, Starter and tilting arrangement. The drive of mixing paddle is through suitable oil filled worm gear unit which in turn get drive through V belts from a suitable T.E.F.C. motor. The blades of the paddle are so arranged that thorough mixing is obtained. All parts which are in direct contact with the material to be mixed are of S.S. or neutral material. The main paddle runs in journals and supported by thrust bearings of ample size to carry rigid and thrust load. The whole drum of mixer makes ease of cleaning.

PLASTIC DUST COVER
The material under mixing process can be apparently seen from the Plastic Dust Cover of the container at all times and it, being hinged and holding allows solution to be added through without difficulty while the mixer is in motion.

SAFETY
The plastic dust cover is so interlocked that on opening the cover the motor automatically stops. The interlocking system is given to avoid the accident as the machine will not start unless and until container is totally closed. This is of utmost importance in a machine like this which has revolving blades.

TILTING DEVICE
The Tilting Device is provided to ease the unloading of the material. Tilting is affected by means of a hand wheel on the body, the powder or granules being tipped into a container which can be placed at ease.

SEALING ARRANGEMENT
Specially designed self-adjusting sealing arrangement of unique design is provided to ensure that no black particle enters into the Mixing drum. However, little powder from inside may come out some time after a long use which suggests cleaning and readjusting of pressure springs.

LUBRICATION
Provision is made for lubricating all moving parts and specially designed to prevent oil coming in contact with the powder.

DESCRIPTION
Unit consists of S.S. 304 quality hopper and processing chamber (can be provided is S.S. 316 quality at extra cost) with beaters assembly, motor, reversible switch, DOL starter, four speed step pulley, Suitable screen with painted pillar mounted on base plate, with castors.

OPERATION
It operates on the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction.

Material fed in the hopper, goes down to the processing chamber where it moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially. Finally the processed material gets collected in the container kept below the processing chamber.

Output and quality of the final product depends on three main factors

  • Shape of beaters (knife/impact edges),

  • Speed and

  • Screen.

Riddhi Roll Compactor is designed for the densification and granulation of powder for the pharmaceutical industries in particulars and food and chemical industries in general. It is also ideal for batch or continuous processing variety of materials. By virtue of its construction and design, it ensures easy and quick clean-up and is most ideal for quick product change-over and also prevents contamination from one product to the other.

RIDDHI RC IS AVAILABLE IN TWO MODELS PLAIN AND WATER JACKETTED, WATER JACKETTED MODEL IS WIDELY ACCEPTED MODEL DUE TO HEAT SENSITIVE PRODUCTS WHICH CAN BE COMPACTED WITHOUT DISTORTING ITS PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES. DESCRIPTION
Seperation of solids from solids, liquids from solids and gradation of materials in accordance with their sizes have always presented problems, especially when large quantity of material is to be processed through finer screens. In recent times the most important development that took place is the replacement of the conventional reciprocating motion by the gyratory motion in sieving and straining operation. Even if a particle is small it would pass through a screen only if its configuration relating to the opening is favourable.

For a non-isometric particle, the axis must be correctly aligned with respect to the place of screen and the centre of gravity of the particle must be above the aperture at any instant. Further, the amount of material on the screen should be such that passage of small particles is not obstructed by large particles.

It is therefore necessary to impart horizontal rotary motion to the particle by suitable means. Care also has to be taken to ensure that such motions, particularly during dry sieving or grading operation, should not be vigorous so as to cause size reduction of particles themselves or damage to the screen.

RIDDHI Sieving, Grading and Straining Machine was specially developed with above design features to provide gyratory vibration The amplitude of vibration is adjustable to suit processing needs.

The SOLACE Fluid Dryer has adopted new concept of GMP Regulation with improved performance (Drying time is much less than the conventional model), minimum involvement of manual labour, simplified maintenance and utilises modular construction techniques to provide flexible installation options.

The process unit is single piece made of SS-316 stainless steel. Thorough mixing of Dry powders, Agglomeration and Drying all are carried out in one unit of Solace Fluid Bed Dryer.

The Outstanding Main Points of Solace Fluidised Bed Dryer are as follows :

PROCESS UNIT

  • The Process unit is of single piece, made of stainless steel of SS-316 grade.

  • All process contact parts are made of SS-316 grade.

  • The finish employed externally will be all welds ground back and polished into the surrounding materials.

  • All of the external surfaces of the processor and all non contact/ sight parts will prepared with a uniform fine texture matt finish.

  • All of the product contact surface (SS-316) are mirror finished.

  • Particular attention has been paid to reduce any source of material Entrapment by mirror polishing flush all welds to create crevice free profiles both internally and externally.

  • The retarding and the expansion chamber containing the filter finger bags are made of single piece construction from SS-316 quality sheet. The length of the Expansion chamber is much more compared to retarding chamber, thereby providing extra large heat exchange area which exposes each and every particle or the charged batch in the Fluidised air resulting in instant drying.

  • Side entry inlet air duct at the rear.

  • Two 304 Stainless Steel support columns are provided for stability. The Support columns designed to withstand a 30 ton vertical force.

  • Specially designed base is provided for air vortex effect and to give added strength.

  • A central drain port is provided in the base to release wash water.

Construction
Double walled construction, inner made out of  18 Gauge S.S. 304 sheet and outer 18 Gauge  S.S. 304 sheet covered on 50 x 50 x 6 thick angle frame. Inside and outside polished as matt finish by 120 grit.Thick fiber glass insulation provided between the walls to ensure even temperature throughout maintained 150°c. The oven is fitted with a fully opening door with hinges and provided with letch and handle. 

Electric Panel
Control Panel is fitted in front of oven, provided with Digital Temp. Controller & Timer, Contactor, Starter and Indicating Lamp etc.

Damper

A manually operated Damper is provided.
