Construction Chemicals (Ridex ACR - A multipurpose polymer based product)
Introduction : Ridex ACR is a multi purpose polymeric compound specially formulated for :
(a) Restoration of R.C.C. members (beams & columns, R.C.C. water tanks etc.)
(b) Cemenlitious grouts '
(c) Preparing bonding agent between old plaster to new plaster.
(d) Elastomeric crack filling material.
(e) Laying "Self Leveling Water proof Flooring"(S.L.W.P.Flooring) on newly cast slabs of terrace, swimming pools, Water tanks etc.
Its cement friendly composition improves the flexural endurance of the cement mortar it is used in.
Offered in liquid form, it can be easily mixed in dry mix of cement & sand, replacing equal quantity of water & thereby reducing porosity caused due to vaporization of water.
Use of Ridex ACR can also further reduce water to cement ratio in cement mortar. These construction chemicals can be also be used in restoration of R.C.C. members, water tanks, heavy-duty flooring etc. Due to the compactness achieved by use of Ridex ACR, impermeability is also highly improved. These construction chemicals can also be used as bonding agent between new plaster & old plaster & crack filling material.

Waterproofing Compound (Ridex AP - A Polymer based compound for water proofing & crack filling on smooth glossy surfaces with high bonding & elastomeric properties)
Ridex AP is developed with an idea to waterproof & efficiently seal cracks on glossy surfaces like glazed china chips & smooth I.P.S. surfaces. Due to its user friendly application method, last, hassle free, economical &. sure shot water proofing can be attained without indulging into noisy & dusty masonry work.
Due to its water based nature, this waterproofing compound is easily applied, fast dried & easily mixed with cement (grey or white).
Another excellent feature of Ridex AP waterproofing compound is no wet curing is required when applied on glazed china chip surface with cement.
Description :

Waterproofing Coating Ridex Weather Safe is a polymer based single component, U.V. resistant, heat retardant elastomeric film forming waterproofing breathable eco-friendly compound.
Usage as :
a) Water-proofing system on any masonry surfaces e.g. China mosaic, I.P.S., plaster, R.C.C. slabs, etc.
b) Heat retardant & water proofing primer/base coat before painting.
c) Protective and waterproofing coating on balcony lops, chhajas, parapet walls, domes or any other masonry structures.
d) Protective & waterproofing coating on external sides of air conditioning plants water storage tank.
e) Anti corrosive & heat reflective insulation on G.I. / C.I. pipe lines.
f) Heat reflecting water proofing system on roofs e.g. R.C.C. slabs, A.C. sheets, corrugated G.I. sheets, timber or plywood, etc.

Application Method :
Surface to be coated must be free from oil, grease, dirt, bitumen, paint or rust scales & dirt. Any cracks present on the surface must be filled with suitable sealant like Rideo ACR cement putty.
Apply a undiluted coat of Rideo weather safe on cleaned surface with a brush or roller & allow it to dry & set overnight. Repeat a second coat in similar manner on the next day. Normally, third coat will not be required, yet in case of extremely bad surface condition, third coat should be applied on the third day. For additional protection apply a coat of Rideo OR finally.
Coverage : Approximately 50 Sq. Ft.s / Kg./ coat on reasonably smooth masonry surfaces.
Film thickness : Approximately 700 to S00 microns with 2 coats.
Shelf life : Minimum one year in cool dry place away from direct sun rays. |

Transparent Waterproof Coating Ridex WR is a water based ready to use transparent waterproof coating having Melamine & Silicon as active ingredient, which works as an excellent water repellent, prevents rain water seepage & dampness from external side of the wall.
Due to its water like appearance, this transparent waterproof coating does not interfere with the appearance or the texture or shade of the painted surface, thus the architectural values are also maintained. Even the gloss or matt finish is retained.
Field of applications :
- Plastered wall or painted walls (cement or acrylic or tex etc.)
- Naked brick work
- External vertical wall of high rise buildings
- Unglazed pottery wares
- Any other masonry structures needing water repellency
- Soft porous stones
- Plinth level RCC beams to prevent rising dampness & salt elevation into brick works
Unlike other silicone based water repellents, Ridex WR transparent waterproof coating has good abrasion resistance due to its Melamine content, which gives a longer life.
Methods of application :
Clean the surface to be treated with a hard brush to make it free from dirt, moss, algae, etc. Ensure complete dryness of the surface for perfect results. Apply YDG1COAT WR generously on the clean surface with a clean brush evenly. Allow it to dry for atleast 3 hours. Leave the surface for at least 12 hours. |

Waterproof Coating Agent Ridex OR is an excellent waterproof coating agent for Glazed china chips or I.P.S. finished surfaces!
Many times it happens that when the monsoon is at the doorsteps, water proofing becomes inevitable, but is not possible to carry it out in conventional way, due to many reasons like :
a) Lack of time
b) Lack of funds
c) Lack of awareness about the bad shape of terrace surface, etc.
This is when Ridex OR waterproof coating agent comes in handy due to its non invasive, economical, fast yet reliable application!
Description :
Ridex OR is a solvent based system, having Melaminc, Silicone & Acrylates as active ingredients. It can be easily applied with brush or sprayed on clean & dry surface to achieve a water proof & highly hydrophobic surface. The best feature of Ridex OR waterproof coating agent is that no invasive methods like chiseling or breaking or V grooving is required.
Coverage : (A) On glazed china chip surfaces : About 100 to 110 Sq. Ft. per Kg
(B) On smooth I.P.S. surfaces : About 80 to 90 Sq. Ft. per Kg.
Application Method :
(1) Wash & clean the surface to be waterproofed. Make sure there are no earlier coating of water proof compounds. If present, that should be removed before washing the surface.
(2) Observe the surface carefully to identify any cracks present. If found, cracks should be first moistened & a priming coat of Ridex AP should be applied on the cracks with a brush. After about 15-20 mins, apply a homogeneously mixed mixture of 1 part Ridex AP & 1 part fresh cement on the cracks.
(3) After at least 2 hours, apply Ridex OR on entire surface with a clean & dry brush.
Allow the coat to set for at least one night. Do not disturb or wet the surface during setting time.
Packing : Available in 20/50/210 Kg.s
Shelf Life : At least one year in scaled container away from heat.
Important : If splashed on face, medical help should be sought immediately. |

Water Repellent Water repellent (Protector) is used for imparting a colourless water repellent surface finish to mineral building material without significantly reducing water vapour permeability. It is also used to provide a barrier against rising damp and last for a longer period.
Thus the product can be used for :-
i) Surface treatment of concrete.
ii) Making manufactured and natural stones water repellent.
iii) Making low fired clay products e.g. roof tiles, bricks, floor tiles, flower pots, etc. water repellent.
iv) Making plastered surface water repellent.

Water Repellent Coating Ridex Seal is a 100% Silanes & Siloxancs based water repellent coating which when diluted with water turns a micro emulsion with nanometer particle size. This provides excellent penetration in the surface along with water repellency when applied on any masonry substrate while maintaining surface breathability.
Unlike other water repellent coatings Ridex Seal can be used as a primer coat, which can improve adhesion of paint on the surface at the same time yielding excellent impermeability.
Application field :
1) Concrete surface (unplastered)
2) Plastered surface
3) For injection grouting to stop/retard efflorescence.
4) As a primer cum waterproofing coat before painting.
5) Additional water proofing system for R.C.C. slabs, IPS surface or china mosaic chips.

Dilution ratio : 1:15 to 20 times with water
Coverage : 1,200 to 2,000 Sq. Ft.s / Kg. in diluted form depending on the porosity of the surface.
Shelf life : 2 years in packed container.
Pot life : 2to 3 days in diluted form.
Penetration : 2 to 3 m.m. depending on the density of the substrate.
Application method : After cleaning the surface & sealing all visible cracks, apply two coats of diluted Yogi Crete Seal (wet on wet) on it. Do not allow the first coat to dry. Allow 7 days time for complete crystallization before checking water repellency & impermeability. If used as a primer, paint can be applied on third day of application.
Post Application properties :
a) Excellent water repellency.
b) Good priming property before paint, plaster or any other coating.
c) Excellent breathability.
d) No change in texture of the surface.

Wall Plaster WALL PLAST is ready to use acrylic finishing wall plaster/putty for interior in paste form. 'WALL PLAST' eliminates the use of 'neeru' oil based putty {Iambi} P.O.P., solvent based putty or primer before application of paint.
I) WHERE TO USE 'WALL PLAST' :
'WALL PLAST' can be applied on almost all interior surface (new or old), such as :
- Precast and conventional building areas.
- New internal surface of precast concrete.
- Concrete bricks and blocks.
- Sand cement plaster.
- Ply wood AC sheet.
- Old painted surface.
II) HOW TO USE 'WALL PLAST' :
1. SURFACE PREPARATION : Removes all the loosely adhering material from the wall surface with the help of emery stone, putty blade or wire brush. Make sure that the surface is absolutely dry.
2. APPLICATION : WALL PLAST is a ready for use. Do not dilute with any solvent or water. Using a painter's putty knief or mason's steel trowel apply the material on the interior walls/surfaces. The thickness should be about 1 mm. After the material has dried, apply a thin second coat (generally both coats do not exceed 2mm). Allow the material to dry. The drying time of each coat should be 4 hours but vary from surface to surface.
3. FINISHING : Rub the surface with '0' number sand paper or a fine emery paper. Remove the dust using clean cloth. The WALLPLAST area is now ready for painting.
4. PAINTING : The smooth surface finished with wall plaster does not require any putty or primer before paint application. Just apply any paint as per the manufacturer's standard specification.
III) STORAGE :
WALL PLAST should be stored in cool & dry place.
IV) PACKING :
WALL PLAST is available in 25 kgs. HDPE laminated bag with liner.

Tile Adhesive The tile adhesive is mainly comprised of cement making it ideal for the fixing of tiles on the external floor and internal walls. Also well suited for fixing most of the natural stones, the ceramic tile adhesive is available in HDPE packets containing 20 kg of tile adhesive. These should be used within 30 minutes after being mixed with water so as for better result. The features are as follows :

Mix Powder to water in the proportion of approx 3:1 by volume. Mix it thoroughly to uniform consistency. After allowing the mixture to stand for 5to 10 min, stir mixture again just before spreading. Apply the mixture on the surface smoothly using the notched trowel maintaining a thickness of 3 mm. Ensure the total usage of the mix within 25-30 min. |
