About Us Rivolta Industries was incorporated in 1989 by Mr. Sanjeev Kalurkar to manufacture machined components. Over a period of time they have evolved from a company machining semi-finished stub axles to fully finished one and eventually moved up the value chain to become a system supplier for front axle components. The milestones in the history of Rivolta Industries reflect its commitment to business and its eagerness to be preferred auto ancillary for various domestic and international marquees in India and abroad. 1989: Rivolta Auto Industries set up machining for gear shaft and first stub axle for Telco (Now Tata Motors Ltd). 1992: Set up S.S. Associates Pvt. Ltd. to utilize the knowledge of machine tools and to undertake retrofitting activity (Converting conventional machines to low cost CNC Machines).They joined hands with the renowned company M/S Kirloskar Electric Co. Ltd for selling and installing Retrofit kits for various machines like Lathes, Milling Machines, and Grinding Machines etc. 1994: First CNC lathe developed under the brand name of Spinners -20. They have designed and developed this machine and exhibited in IMTEX 95 (IMTEX is India?s biggest machine tool exhibition held every three years). 1995: Set-up Askar Micron Pvt. Ltd in Mysore, Karnataka for dedicated manufacturing of Machine Tools.Also set up Spinners Precision Ltd. as marketing firm for machines prodused by Askar Micron, Pvt.Ltd. 1997: Set-up of Prescon P. Ltd. The highlight of the company?s activity was machining of Steering Knuckle for Tata Motors Indian car project- The Indica. 1998: Acquired Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors Ltd and Sharada Motors as key clients. 2000 : Divested from Askar Micron. Started buying used machninery from Europe & refurbishing the same. 2001 : Designed, Developed and Implemented entire ERP inhouse. 2001-Till Date: This period saw an exponential growth for the company in terms of its manufacturing capabilities to acquiring new clients like Tractor & Farm Equipments Ltd (TAFE Ltd), Mahindra International Ltd, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, International Cars & Motors Ltd Engine Block Machining was started for Indica Tata Motors Ltd. |
