Established in 1932, We, R. K. Ganapathi Chettiar, are located in Kangeyam (Tamilnadu). We, ghee manufacturer and exporting pure ghee (clarified butter), that is well-known
for traditional flavor, quality and purity. With an experience of over 50
years in the ghee manufacturing industry, we have achieved success in
creating a distinct brand name for our product, in the hearts of millions of
people in different parts of India as well as abroad.
The ghee that we manufacture conform to Agmark standards, and is packed
according to the convenience of consumers, in sachets, pet bottles and tins.
We have a manufacturing capacity of 150 to 200 metric tons of pure ghee per
month. Our export of pure ghee occupies 12% share of the overall sales, of
the company.
We are a member of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). We
have won other accolades such as the the prestigious Rashtriya Gaurav Award
from the Government of India, for our contribution in this sector.
R. K. Ganapathi Chettiar, A quality centric company, we ensure proper packing of our products, with
highly advanced packaging equipment, to maintain their novelty and flavor.
Tins are lacquer-coated to give extra shelf life and to prevent rust
formation. The tins are further sealed with aluminum foils, to prevent
leakages and the packages are bar-coded for easy tracing.
Products That We Offer
We mainly focus on consumer packaging and offer packages ranging from tins
of 15 litres to sachets of 20 ml in India. For export, the ghee is packed in
tins, with the weights ranging from 15 kgs to 200 grams. Some of our

Why Us?
- Strict Adherence to Quality Standards
Stringent quality control measures are followed from the sourcing of
butter to the packaging of the final products. The butter purchased is
checked in microbiological laboratories to prevent bacterial and fungal
presence. The stock of raw butter is taken for production, only if it
passes these comprehensive tests.
- Post Production Quality Check
The processed ghee, is subjected to stringent AGMARK tests conducted by
the State AGMARK Grading Laboratory. Each batch of production goes
through the AGMARK test procedure for quality, before the finished
product is sent to the market.
- Packaging
The ghee is packed in airtight containers and foil sealed to meet
international standards. Our product incorporates AGMARK packaging right
from 20 ml sachets to 15 ltr tins. Packaging for exports, is carried out
according to the country specific contract requirements.
- Labeling and Marking
The following information is shown in English and/or regional languages
on the sides of the container in letters.

2. Date of manufacture (day, month, year)
3. Net Weight of ghee
4. Traceable barcode
All the ghee packs are clearly marked with permanent waterproof ink.
