Our capabilities in the manufacture of High speed and Carbide cutting tools means that we are perfectly placed to offer a full range of HSS Drill blanks in standard and extra lengths and in High Speed and Cobalt materials.

Our range of (High Speed Steel) HSS drill blanks are manufactured using superior grade steel to provide efficient performance to the end users. 

Ground drill blanks are the same length as jobber length drills and hardened (RC 63-65) and parallel ground (no taper) to required tolerances. All blanks have a bright finish and are made to BS328 / DIN338N / ISO235/1 standards.

These are available in the following HSS grades: 
1X HSS M2 : The tools are made from M-2 high quality steel.
Special 8% Cobalt (SAE M42) : Manufactured from M-42 quality steel containing 8% cobalt.

rohit 1x (hss m2):

 

• tools are manufactured from m-2 quality high speed steel. This is recommended for use on non-ferrous metals only which are basically soft or have low final strength.  

 

rohit 2x hss 5% cobalt (sae m35):

 

• exceptionally good toughness and red hardness, most suitable for heavy work on difficult materials and an ideal general purpose tool bit for machine shops.  

 

rohit special 8% cobalt (sae m42):

 

• tool bits made from 8% cobalt have high heat and abrasion resistance giving them long cutting life.

 

rohit 3x hss 10% cobalt (aisi t-42):

 

• manufactured from finest high speed steel this quality of tool bit retains its red hardness at high temperatures and is most suitable for machining high alloy steels and various grades of stainless steels.

 

rohit 3x ec500:

 

• manufactured from high speed steel containing 10% cobalt these tools are cryogenically treated for superior performance and life when compared to ordinary 10% cobalt tools.

we offer a wide range of (high speed steel) hss punches, which are available in different shapes like hexagonal, square or triangular.  
regular punches
punches manufactured by us are used in metal fabruication industries. These are perfect for pressing through sheets of metals and into a die to form desired shapes on the metals. It is widely used for its efficient and long-lasting performance.
double step punches
we also offer double step punches that are capable of handling multiple die casting application in one go.  
these are widely used in making perforations, holes of varied shapes like triangle, square, hexagonal in various kind of fasteners industry.  
apart from this, our range is manufactured using raw material like hss m2 and can also be provided with asp 2030 powdered metallurgical steel.

exceptionally good toughness and red hardness, most suitable for heavy work on difficult materials and an ideal general purpose tool bit for machine shops.  as a single point cutting tool, this quality is used to bring about the best advantage with tools which have to take deep cuts at high speeds. Good all-around quality for general machining purposes, and may be employed on hard and scaly materials producing discontinuous chips.

this type is recommended for the use in cutting of high alloy steels and stainless steels in annealed condition.  this quality of tool bit retains its hardness even at very high temperatures and is recommended where the generation of heat is very high and the tool should not get blunt at high temperatures.

 

cryogenically treated tools

tool bits manufactured from high speed steel can be also be provided by doing cryogenic treatment by cooling down tool bits at a pre-determined rate to liquid nitrogen temperature levels resulting in a thermally stabilized material with a coherent, improved microstructure that exhibits outstanding wear resistance and improved performance.
