At Eldon we believe the best way to design the perfect product, is to work together with our customers. Although we have been manufacturing enclosures since 1922, we understand that our customer’s requirements are changing all the time, and that from time to time you need something different. When designing the Multi-Mount® range, we aimed to offer the largest range of standard sizes of any industrial enclosures currently available on the market (61 sizes). Furthermore, Multi-Mount® needed to be versatile enough so that we could customize it to our customers exact specification (incl. Different dimensions or colour, and hole punching etc). Investing in the latest automated production processes in our factory in the South of Spain (Martos), has meant that we can offer a variety of different options to our standard product, quickly, efficiently and cost effectively, and still maintain the same high quality as our standard product. In order to achieve a higher environmental protection rating (IP66 single door or IP55 double door), and to prevent access of dirt and water, the standard Multi-Mount® body is folded and seam welded from a cruciform, and has a reverse bend which forms a rain gutter to direct liquids away from the gasket. As any installer will know, cabling an enclosure is a complicated and time consuming job, so to make life easier, we have positioned the gland plate opening at the far rear of the enclosure, which also means you don’t need to over bend the cables. Multi-Mount® also offers the option of top or bottom gland entry, depending on if you hinge the door on the left or right. Also as standard on the Multi-Mount® range are horizontal markings on the mounting plate at 10mm intervals, which makes the positioning of equipment easier and faster. With all the approvals and certificates you would expect from a major European Manufacturer, the Multi-Mount® range from Eldon really does put the customer first, because we understand the significance of design, flexibility and quality in today’s market place. |

Eldon manufactures a complete range of mild steel consoles, providing solutions for even the most complicated control & automation applications. All mild steel consoles are available in two versions, compact or combination, in either IP66 for single door (up to 1000 mm wide), or IP55 for double door. Although the Eldon console range has the largest number of standard sizes on the market, the advantages don't stop there, because Eldon will customise any console for you, including different dimensions, hole cut-outs, or non-standard colours! Another consideration for choosing Eldon consoles is that they all have a door to the front, and a removable rear panel, which means we can provide greater access and a larger working area, due to the fact that we fit two mounting plates instead of one. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) can be described as any type of electrical interference, signal or noise, which temporarily or permanently effects the ability of electrical or electronic equipment or systems to function correctly. This phenomenon is familiar to everyone, even if we do not have a fundamental understanding of (EMI) principles. Choosing the right terminal box for your application is not a problem with Eldon, because with over 160 standard sizes available in six different types of material, we know we have the perfect box for you! Or if it’s not available as standard, we can probably supply it on request. Although a relatively simple box with a screw on lid, we have still made sure our range has all the right approvals (incl. FI, GL, GHOST, UL, cUL, GL, ATEX), accessories and different configurations you would expect.

Boasting a fresh, appealing design, the new ElBox patch box comes in 400mm, 500mm and 600 mm deep versions. While both the 400mm and the 500mm will be supplied as knock-down or flat-pack versions, the 600 mm deep model will be delivered pre-assembled. The new ElBox features several improvements over the TEN and TED series it replaces. The advantage of supplying the majority of the range flat-packed means ElBox takes up less room to store and transport. There is no need to unpack the box until it has reached its final destination, because mounting only takes a few minutes. Another important new feature of ElBox is that both sides are removable. This provides installers with full access to the enclosures interior from the front, left and right hand sides, making component installation much easier. However, when the door is closed, the side panels automatically lock in position, preventing unauthorized access to the equipment inside. ElBox also features break-out gland openings pre-punched in both the top and bottom of the enclosure, allowing users to select the cable entry point. ElBox comes complete with a cable entry brush and earthing cables. Finally, all ElBox enclosures are supplied with a glass or steel door. Because of their appealing design and ventilation openings, they are suitable for a broad range of environments such as shops, supermarkets, offices, medical facilities, etc. |

Whether you need 19", 23", 24" or ETSI (metric) requirements, the ElRack copes with all sizes, as standard. Dimensions available: Height: from 21U (1000mm) to 48U (2200mm), Width: 600mm, 800mm and 900mm, Depth: 600mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm and 1200mm. Due to the fully symmetrical knockdown structure of the ElRack, there is no front, side or rear to the frame. This means that all accessories can be mounted on whatever side the installer requires. Suiting racks together in any direction, either sideways, in depth or through a corner, the ElRack easily adapts to the application. The primary reason for using thermal management products in enclosures is to maintain the continuity of the process that it controls, as breakdowns are time consuming and costly. Selecting the right thermal management products to maintain the right temperature and protect sensitive components inside, against extreme heat/cold or dust, is as important as your decision to use thermal management in the first place. Using the Eldon thermal management calculation program, you can calculate exactly what system you need to install to keep your components safe, and thereby avoiding un-necessary downtime of vital equipment or processes. The software is free to use and can be easily downloaded from this website. The program contains databases of Eldon enclosures, their dimensions, and our conditioning devices (filter/fans, cooling units, heat-exchangers etc). There is also a selection of the most commonly used electrical components with their heat dissipation. After having chosen the enclosure type and size, given all the environment conditions (enclosure situation, required equipment temperature, ambient temperature and heat dissipation), the program will recommend the most appropriate conditioning solution. A calculation report can then be printed. |

Designed for not only the OEM user, the Eldon Swing Arm Range offers a versatile solution to the industrial user too. The range consists of: the OICP (Operator Interface Control Panel); SA SL (Swing Arm System Light in Mild Steel) and SA SS (Swing Arm Stainless Steel). The OICP is a specially designed control panel manufactured in anodised aluminium (IP65), for use with Operator Interfaces or HMI’s. The OICP is available in six standard sizes (other sizes are available on request). Aluminium front plates are also available in a variety of standard sizes, which you can easily cut out to fit the exact size of your touch screen, graphic terminal or operator interface etc (custom-made front plates in different sizes, with holes, cut-outs or printed are also available). The OICP is supplied already machined for use with the SA SL, although is also available un-machined. The SA SL is a swing arm designed for use with a separate lightweight control panel OICP or enclosure over short distances, with either open or closed profiles (the closed profile can increase the loading capacity up to a maximum of 450N). The SA SL has an extensive range of different elbows and couplings available, to allow you to build a fully customised solution from a standard range, and has been fully tested against vibration. Other systems are available for more demanding applications (S05 up to 1000N, S06 up to 1250N, S08 up to 1500N and S14 up to 2600N). |
