Our wide range of products are Cotton Mats, Bamboo Mats, Banana Fiber, Banana Yarn, Banana Fiber Yarn, Banana Fiber Window Blinds, Banana Fiber Carry Bags, Banana Fiber Mats, Runner and Folders. Rural Outsourced Production Enterprises (ROPE) focuses on outsourcing or contracting production to villages in select sectors and using ICT tools and applications for efficient production organization. We are a part of TeNeT group of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, which is the premier engineering institution of India. We focus in combining rural artisans and craftsmen with modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) applications to manufacture qualitative products.

We offer our clients with dedicated low cost production from distributed centers in rural areas. Further, we adopt ICT in production, which is efficient and takes less time. We also follow ethical policies to meet the global quality standards. Further, we also take social responsibility by producing eco-friendly products. Under the able guidance of Mr. Sreejith, we are able to grow leaps and bounds. He is a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, PG Diploma in Development Management. Further, we have the central office in Chennai and six production units in villages.

We manufacture qualitative and customized products to our clients. Our products are of affordable price and are delivered within the desired time frame, which gives complete customer satisfaction. Our clients are Ikea (largest retailer), Industree (Bangalore) and US clients.

We lay utmost emphasis on the quality of our products. We assure that only quality proven products are dispatched to our customers. From selection of quality raw materials to final dispatch, we follow stringent quality checking parameters. Apart from this, our expert craftsmen work under the guidance of master artisans. We have an adept team of experienced and expert craftsmen and artisans, which comprises of 120 workforce. They can make qualitative and customized design products with their expertise in weaving and other techniques. Further, our team is also well versed with the modern machines. So, they can take new challenges and manufacture latest trends products. Further, our entire team work in coherence to meet the goals of the organization. This plays an important role in the growth of our organization.

Our manufacturing unit have skilled craftsmen and artisans who are well versed with the modern machines. We have designing unit, production unit, quality control unit etc to look after the manufacturing process of our products. Further, our designing unit designs the products as per the requirement of our customers. We use natural and eco-friendly raw materials such as bamboo fiber, banana fiber, cotton etc in our products. Apart from this, we use hand loom and other semi machines in manufacturing. We also have a packaging unit to pack the products in bulk amount an d as required by our customers. The packaging and labeling of the products are done carefully which helps in fast delivery of our products.

We use qualitative raw materials like natural fibers of banana fiber, coconut fiber, bamboo, korai grass, elephant (Sambu) grass, sisal fiber and banana silk fiber. We also use traditional hand loom silk and cotton fabrics, especially Kutni fabrics in our products. Our kutni fabrics combines both silk and cotton. Our range of products includes:

Our mission is to integrate domestic and international markets with informal sectors of rural India and generating value for the skills and resources available in these sectors. Apart from this, we are emphasizing on quality, cost competitiveness and social responsibility through efficient use of modern technology and management tools. We are planning to increase our workforce to 400 in 3 years. Further, we are also trying to increase our turnover to 3 crores and have a great brand and 15 export clients.
