Rostfrei steels inc, usa was founded in 1976 and since then it has developed and successfully implemented the bolted tanks concept in the industry. Some of the key advantages of rostfrei's silos and tanks are -
1. Rostfrei uses a proprietary alloy called "zincalume steel" as moc for all its products.
2. Forecasted to last 50-60 years in a fully roofed tank/silos. Using a zincalume steel ensure that there will be no rusting and corrosions for minimum of 40-50 years.
3. Flexible zincaluminum steel wall with a unique and strong corrugated profile. All rostfrei silos are stiffened with unique w stiffeners having much higher strength and reliability than normal stiffeners.
4. Modular, kit form structure. Easy to lift and handle, can be installed almost anywhere. Can also be installed on building roof tops and on project sites where space is restricted.
5. Pre-fabricated rostfrei silos can be erected and commissioned on site with minimum erection time. A 2500 tons of flat bottom grain silo can be installed in 8-10 days.
6. All nuts and bolts are high tensile strength and hot dipped galvanized for better life.
7. Completely modular knock down design. All components are of consistent quality as they are produced in a controlled factory environment and checked prior to dispatch (in accordance with iso 9001).
8. In the event of accidental damage, all components of the rostfrei silos/tank are replaceable / repairable. This means that the customer does not need to buy a new tank.
9. Low cost for high quality product that is built to last. Installation is simple and fast and tanks can be filled immediately upon completion of construction.
