Transformers
Established in the year 1976, Indo Tech Transformers Ltd., is an ISO 9001-2000 certified company (RWTUV) and specializes in producing world class power and distribution transformers up to 100 MVA, 230 KV class. As a part of the expansion plan a new factory has been set up for manufacturing 230 KV/400 KV transformers up to 315 MVA.
All its operations are carried out in Southern India where it has four manufacturing facilities located in Chennai, Kancheepuram district and Palakkad, Kerala. It is associated with one of the best names in the industry such as M/s Honeywell, USA for manufacturing distribution transformers using amorphous metal cores, M/s Mobile Source Industries Inc. Ontario, Canada for mobile substation transformers and M/s Dupont, USA for manufacturing of open ventilated dry type transformers.
They serve not only the Indian markets but international markets too like Nigeria, Germany, Egypt, U.K., Switzerland, USA, Canada and several other countries. |

 | Arc Furnace Transformer • Transformers used for smelting that feed the arc furnace load with voltage varing between 60 to 150 V on the LV side.

• Indo Tech also manufactures Converter type transformers which converts single phase to three phase and vise versa for specific application with built in gapped core reator.

 | OVDT - Reliatran Open Ventilated Dry Type Transformer Indotech also manufacturers RELIATRAN® open ventilated dry type transformers upto 5000 KVA 33 KV in their state of the art plant, Chennai in technical collaboration with El DUPONT Ind, USA. Transformers are manufactured in a pollution and dust free environment which have passed all type tests upto 1000 KVA. Transformers are designed to work for continuous over loading of 15% without fan also offered for 5 yeare, warranty period.
