The organization has undertaken various research activities and has developed water treatment products. Field water testing kits developed by this organization are very popular and have been included in Govt. of India’s web site. These kits have been certified by CSIR, ICAR and NIT laboratories. The organization is supported by an advanced level water testing laboratory for conducting research activities in water supply sector. The strength of the organization lies in the support received from a team of Scientists and Engineers to carry out interdisciplinary research activities and product development. The organization has expertise in conducting training programs and field survey programs. Technical support is also provided for various NGOs for conducting training and also field service related activities. Recent research activities are related to development of modified field test kits for testing water, soil, water for construction, bleaching powder, arsenic, dissolved oxygen, silver, copper etc. Readymade lab reagents for use in Water / Soil testing laboratories are the new areas for supporting the water testing laboratories in the country. Water treatment units like Iron Removal Plant, Fluoride & Arsenic Filters, Disinfection (Silver Ionization, Chlorination) units etc. are the new products for use in water quality affected areas. The organization has also exposure in development of software and training of in software for MIS in various companies.
