About Us

was established in the year 1956. It was a humble beginning. The firm was started with the object of serving the Sugar Industry of India, which had taken its roots in India in the year 1932-33, was still using outdated conventional equipment. There ware hardly any sugar machinery manufacturers in the country who could offer sophisticated equipment to the Sugar Industry even after about 30 years of its (Sugar Industry) taking roots in India. The major equipments were still being imported along with the technology.

We, at RR Heavy Engineering, made it a point to explore the latest designs of various equipment and manufacturer the machines accordingly. The Directors of the firm were travelling to most of the European countries and were developing contacts with the renowned sugar machinery manufactures of Europe. Some of these European machinery manufacturers were already operating in India and were prime contractors for supply of complete sugar plants in the co-operative sector in India. It was in late 50’s within a few years of our inception, we were supplying complete Boiling House Equipment as sub-contractors to European machinery manufacturers. M/S. F.L. Cail of France and M/S. B.M.A. of West Germany were the foreign machinery by our quality and workmanship. We manufacture in our works, the boiling house equipment and supplied the same to the sugar mills in India, on behalf of the above European companies.

With the passing of time R. R. Heavy Engineer became totally self-sufficient to develop products and technology for Sugar Plant. We are now producing all the equipment for sugar industry compared with the best, anywhere in the world.
