Issocotes coatings, because of higher filler to solvent ratio, covering properties excellent. The high refractory zirconium silicate in Issocotes ensure good casting finish free from metal penetration and sand fusion

Application:-

Easy mixing due to excellent suspension properties. The surface weakening is reduced due to low carrier & high gel. This makes Issocotes suitable even for organic binders. Recommended for Steel, alloy steels, heavy section cast iron & Copper based alloy castings. Advantages: Good casting finishes and reduced fettling costs. Higher coverage : Due to higher filler to solvent ratio gives better surface coverage. Easy preparation : Excellent suspension and easy remix ability of Issocotes coatings ensure rapid preparation even with manual mixing.

Description

 

GENX is a brick red coloured coating produced from specially selected fillers of Mica, Wollostonite, Sillimanite and Aluminium silicate with water as liquid carrier. Due to its mineral composition a smooth and clean surface finish is obtained. The application of wash is by spraying or dipping or swabbing.

 

Application

 

• GENX is mainly for resin bonded cores, No bake as well as Shell moulding.

• No need of use of mechanical blenders.

• Only by hand, material can be mixed thoroughly.

• For dilution water can be used.

• For dipping an efflux time of approx.14-16
  seconds measured with B4 cup.

• For spraying an efflux time of approx. 15-16 seconds with B4 cup.

Description-

Ready to use high refractory Ceramic wash is Pink-red coloured coatings produced from especially with  high Alumina in order to get smooth and clean surface finish. The coatings are recommended for use on green sand, silicate and oil bonded moulds & cores to get a smooth casting finish free from sand burn-on for Iron, Gray Iron and non –ferrous castings.

Application-

• Specific Gravity   :-   1.10-1.30gm/cc
• Viscosity             :-   12-15 Secs.
• Solid Contents    :-    40-50%

• Remix the ready for use liquid homogeneously before use .Apply by brush or spray on the mould or core surface and light off.
• In case of large moulds or cores surface, it is ideal to apply product in smaller areas at a time followed by immediate light off.
• Replace the lid of the container immediately after use.
• Torch the coated surface after lighting off whenever necessary, in order to completely dry the coated surface.

We offer superior quality Kolcote which is a ready to use coating for manganese steel castings. The special gravity at application consistency of Kolcote is 1.20-1.40 g / cc. These exhibit excellent mixing due to its suspension properties.

Corxil-1 (Break down agent)

Descriptions:

 

Cores and moulds produced by carbon di-oxide process, retains its strength even at higher temperature. This retained strength makes removal of cores very difficult. For ease of core removal and mould break downs.

 

Corxil-1 improves strength of core, surface finish of the castings and the knockout properties.

 

Additions

 

Generally 1.0 to 1.5% of Corxil-1 is sufficient to give good collapsibility. The amount of Corxil-1 to be used depends mainly upon the type of alloy being cast, the amount of liquid binder used, the type of the sand and casting configuration.

 

Advantages

 

For good results, while mixing, it is necessary to add Corxil-1 before addition of sodium silicate.
