These are used to minimize fault current to a predetermined value,, Neutral Grounding Resistor is placed in between the neutral of a generator or a Transformer and Ground. This produces a value that is sufficiently low to prevent damaging fault currents to the Power generation, distribution and other associated equipments, yet high enough to operate clearing relays. |
Load Bank Resistors are used as dummy loads for testing circuit breakers and high frequency radio transmitter systems, generators, tansformers and batteries etc/ Portable and trailer mounted Load Banks are manufactured as per customers requirement. |

A Damping Circuit consisting of a Resistor and Reactor connected in parallel, limits the amplitude of the Capacitor Discharge current to a safe value and also helps in rapid dispassion of energy. Under normal circumstances the Damping Resistors come into picture whne the bypass breaker is intentionally closed for maintenance purposes. The Resistors are then expected to perform a continuous duty. The Resistors can be custom made and designed to meet various applications and operations. We also offer corrosion resistant design for off-shore applications having high voltage Strength. We design and offerupto 220 KV Voltage rating. Our Damping Resistors have been Type Tested for Impulse & Short Circuit Tests from ERDA, Vadodra. |

The Resistor is a part of the brake chopper, which operates at a frequency of 300 Hz. It is mounted on the roof of the locomotive and has natural cooling. The resistor is used in case of an emergency brake. In case the line can not sink current, before the mechanical brakes have taken over. These are used in EMU Coaches. |
Resistance is the main component for starting and speed control of all motors whether AC or DC used for Cranes, Winches, Colliery Haulages, Rolling Mills or any other heavy equipment. The resistance can also be supplied along with Associated Control Panels.

The Resistor for Harmonic Filter for 3 Phase Locomotives is made from tape of Nichrome Material (Ni 60%, Cr 15%) ion the form of corrugated shape, with a certain pre-tension, is wounded in the form of meanders around the ceramic insulators, which are fixed with transverse rods on to the resistor frame. The elasticity due to corrugation of the resistor tape ensure good stability of its shape, even at high temperature. The complete Filter resistor assembly is mounted in the roof of the locomotive. |
