Valve seat rings are overlaid with Stellite to enhance the life of seat rings & resisit wear etc. Various types of Stellite caoting is perfromed on different base metals. such as Carbon Steel , Alloy Steels, Stainless Steels, & Nickel Alloys. Appropriate heat treatment is done in house to provide the required hardness . All overlays are tested & test coupons are provided to confrim the adequacy of the process. |
Stellite is deposited as coatings weld overlay on carbon steel, stainless steel and other exotic base materials. It is used mostly in valve seats, on dics and plate. |

Stellite -6 & Stellite-21 overlays are perfromed on plugs. The base metals for the plugs vary from carbon steel to Stainless Steel to exotic Nickel alloys coatings. |
