| NOVEC Fire Extinguishers Item Code: 1230 We offer our customers NOVEC 1230 for offering a comprehensive safety margin which is wider than any viable halon replacement available in the market today. The Novec 1230 fluid is based on long-term, sustainable technology that not only offers the users with greater margin of safety but also has low GWP for halocarbon alternatives, and zero ozone depletion potential. Comparison between Novec1230 and other systems available in the market today are: | Agent | Novec1230 | Halon 1301 | HFC-125 | HFC-227ea | | Use Concentration | 4-6% | 5% | 8.7-12.1% | 7.5-8.7% | | NOAEL3 | 10%4 | 5% | 7.5% | 9% | | Safety Margin | 67-150% | Nil | Nil | 3-20% | What is Novec 1230 fluid? Novec 1230 fluid is a fluoroketone, which is a proprietary 3M technology that has a number of advantages over other conventional halon replacements. How does it work? Novec 1230 fluid works as a gas and extinguishing with its cooling effect. It is a liquid at room temperature and does not require to be stored in pressurized cylinders, which makes them highly easy to handle. As the number of cylinders required are as the same as conventional halocarbon agents, these provide efficient use of space Where is Novec 1230 fluidused? The Novec 1230 fluid can be used for streaming as well as flooding applications, and are perfect to be used for applications in special hazards, which are places that are vital for maintaining operation of high-value equipment. Some of the key areas where these are used include telecommunication switch rooms, computer and electronic control rooms, hazards aboard ships and critical military applications such as engine and crew bay, and flightline protection. What sets it apart? With its zero ozone depletion potential, Novec 1230 has a low atmospheric lifetime for halocarbon alternatives of 5 days, whereas the closest alternative stands at 33 years. The Global Warming Potential of Novec 1230 fluid is 1, which is 99.9% lower than any halocarbon agent acceptable for use in occupied spaces. The fluid is supported by global sales, technical and customer service resources, with fully-staffed technical service laboratories all across the globe in U.S., Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia. | | |

| Argonite System We offer our customers with argonite fire extinguisher which has specially been designed as an efficient and environmentally friendly media. It is a non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-fogging system that leaves no residue. Further, it is also able to meet the challenge from both the montreal- and kyoto protocol with no ozone depletion potential or global warming potential. These have been tested and approved by various international regulatory bodies. applications as argonite is effective against fires in various combustible material and flammable liquids, these are used in a number of applications. These are specially suited for protection of fixed equipment and plant, along with high value risk locations, where fires can cause devastating losses. Some of the key applications include: - telecommunications facilities
- computer suites
- archive stores
- petrochemical plants
- offshore installations
- control centers
system design all kinds of fires in closed spaces can easily be extinguished in less than 60 seconds, when the oxygen concentration falls below 15%. The argonite fire extinguishing system is based on a mixture of 50% argon and 50% nitrogen that is able to reduce the oxygen concentration to levels that are acceptable to human exposure over short periods. This extinguishes the fire quickly and efficiently while keeping the personnel safe. The argonite software program is able to accurately specify the size and geometry of the argonite system hardware, as per the size and complexity of the area to be protected along with the fire hazard present.

| Co2 Flooding We offer our customers with Co2 Flooding solutions that are based on Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas, which has been used as an effective extinguishing agent in fixed installations since long. The CO2 extinguishing systems offered by us, have been designed and manufactured as per NFPA-12 (National Fire Protection Association) Rules and BIS 6382 codes. The CO2 is stored and supplied in high pressure seamless steel cylinders in liquid form, with a maximum filling ratio of 0.667 kg/liter of cylinder volume. The installation is provided on premises where water and foam cannot be used. 1kg of liquid CO2 consists of 560 liters, which is contained at atmospheric pressure and 21 degree Cel temperature. How the CO2 high pressure system works? The high pressure CO2 system works on pneumatic principles, where pneumatic pressure is used for opening the valves and operating pressure switches. It does not require any wires, pulley, equalizers or falling weights. All the key operating parts are placed internally without having any bulky protective cages. The systems are offered in three different models: - Automatic
- Remote Manual
- Direct Manual
Applications The Carbon Dioxide Systems are ideal to be used as an effective extinguishing medium in a number of applications in confined spaces, such as: - Electrical equipment – Alternators, Transformers and Electric Movers
- Chemical equipments – Flammable Liquids, Solvent stores, Dip tanks, Chemical Work and Stores
- Commercial – Printing Presses, Record Safe Rooms, Kitchen Equipment, Drawing Offices
- Plant Safes

| Clean Agent Systems Item Code: FM200 We offer our customers with FM-200 (Heptafluoropropane) Clean Agent Systems, which are an ideal replacement for Halon 1301. These are used in a number of applications that need a clean environmentally acceptable fire extinguishing agent that is safe for manned areas. It is colourless gas that has a boiling point of -16.4 degree centigrade that provides homogenous mixture in air in a protected enclosure. FM-200 is super pressurized to offer rapid discharge into the protected environment, which makes it ideal for fire suppression applications The key technical specifications of the system are: - Chemical Formula: C3F7H
- Ozone Depletion Potential: 0
- Molecular Weight: 170.03
- Boiling Point: -16.4 Degree Cent
- Critical Temperature: 102 Degree Cent
- Extinguishing Concentration, Heptane Cup
- 5.8 % Burner ( %by Volume )
- Vapour Pressure at 21 Degree C 68.8 psia
These systems function by physical action, the heat is absorbed by the molecules for allowing the temperature to fall to a point below which it cannot propagate, thereby extinguishing the fire. The oxygen depleting effect is very low as only small quantities of the gas are used. FM-200 Engineered systems As the system works on a combination of extinguishant and advanced system components, it is ideal to be used in a number of applications. Further, these have been designed to meet the varied requirements of the customers while utilizing an Approved Design Manual and Hydraulic Calculations Package. Some of the key aspects of our systems are: - Efficient use of extinguishant
- Cost effective use of pipework, layout and materials
- Effective protection
Compact cylinder requirement Being a liquefiable gas, FM200 is available in a number of fill ratios. These offer a cost effective solutions through accurate systems calculations. It is based on advanced design criteria that enhance the flow and installation efficiency by 100%. These offer superior flexibility to new as well as retrofit installations. As these have been pressurized at 25 bar, they can easily be transported and relocated within the risk area without a separate cylinder room enclosure. Detection The FM 200 fire system can be easily activated electrically, pneumatically, or manually with the aid of local or remote control. It can also be connected to any existing detection control stations on the site or be provided with a new detection system.
