Individually forged blocks from sagar steel offer better strength due to forging in all six directions, further refining the grain structure. This forging process yields greater impact and direction strength compared to plate or bar.

Seamless rolled rings on one of our radial ring rollers, offer improved concentricity and smooth surfaces as compared to plate burn-outs, or butt welded rings. Rolled rings save material machining rings from bar stock by not having to bore out the inner diameter. Our CNC programmed machines ensure repeatability from ring to ring, with close tolerance rolling to minimize machining off excess metal. We have the capability of rolling rings up to 72” in diameter and up to 30” in thickness or height, 10,000# max.

We manufacture stocks stainless rolled and flat bar in 410 hot finished. We also stock 420 in cold finished rolled flat bars. All stainless rolled flat bars are stocked in standard 12’ random length sections. Penn Stainless will also process all stainless rolled flat bar.
