Sodium Cyanate
The Chemical Formula is NaOCN with a Molecular Weight of 65.02 and is a free flowing powder. Sodium Cyanate is White in color and is Odourless. Sodium Cyanate Freezing/Melting Point is 550ºC, density of 2.108 g/cm3 and Solubility of 5 gm at 25ºC. Its Purity is 88% to 92% and has Soda Ash Content greater than 5%. Its Cyanate (-OCN) Content is 59.5 % to 61.3 %. Sodium Cynate NaCN Content is zero and has a loss on Drying (At 110ºC) Max is greater than 0.05 %. Sodium Cyanate pH of Solution in Water (5 Wt %) 10 to 11.
