Sodium meta silicate anhydrous

Its chemical formula is Na2SiO3.9H2O and has a molecular weight of 284.2 g/mole. It is white crystal that is odorless. Its boiling Point is100°C (212°F) and has a Freezing/Melting Point of 48°C (118.4°F) in water of crystallization.

Sodium meta silicate anhydrous is easily soluble in cold & hot water, soluble in dilute Sodium Hydroxide. It is also insoluble in alcohol, acids and has a pH of Solution in Water (5 Wt %) 11/13/11. Amongst the NFPA Ratings, for Health it is 3 and is both inflammable and non-reactive.
