The sai automatic coiling machine is designed to fulfill a wide variety of different coil with very simple operating process, our coiling machine is of a basic frame is electro welded steel that ensure a perfect base for the rest of the equipment. On the other side of the machine, we find the rotor that is composed of coiling forms that can be opened automatically with the help of pneumatic system. The coil forms are interchangeable depending on the coil size and cable size. NCNF 

We can provide several NCNF controller options, from our simple "stand-alone" system to our high-speed system that can be integrated into your existing plant process control system.

There is a basic NCNF controller that comes pre-packaged in a stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosure. It is complete with power supply, rate indicator and totalizer, PLC unit and mode selection switch. All you have to do is mount the unit, supply the power and wire the sensors. Simple, fast and reliable. 

SAI robust construction haul-off caterpillar made of thick standardized steel. The range of product is completely adopted to the Industrial Environment. It is exposed to and is designed to last for decades with minimum maintenance.

The cable tension is controlled through pneumatic cable closing cylinders that are located inside the caterpillar. The pressure regulation on each belt is independent and adjustable by a manometer.

The belts are driven by a AC motor coupled to a gearbox unit with two gear ratios. The power transmission between the two belts is controlled by a gear belt which avoids any slippage.


The centre line of the caterpillar is not affected by the cable diameter, as the gripping pressure of both the upper and lower belt is separately adjustable. 
 
The caterpillar is completely symmetric and can be utilised either in a left to right or right to left configuration.

A pair of adjustable cable guide rollers are located at the inlet and the outlet of the caterpillar to align the cable in the machine.

The gearbox lever is located at the front part of the machine which simplifies changing of the speed ratio.

Bow Assembly

Bow Support 
Each bow assembly is supported on both side by high quality ball bearings. The complete bow assembly is dynamically balanced up to the maximum rotation speed.  
ceramic wire holders are placed all along with the bow to hold the cable wire.  

Reel Fame Holder 
Made of a steel structure, it is supported on the main shafts by ball bearings. Its construction permits the reel to remain stable during the production.

We offer High Voltage Spark Testers are designed for checking the quality of PVC coated wires during manufacturing at shop floor. The PVC wire is passed through brass ball chains which carry high voltage. If any pin hole comes in PVC, a spark develops and electro magnetic counter counts the fault. The spark tester is necessary for every cable manufacturing unit.The equipment uses a high frequency oscillator circuit for rising frequency to search the fault at low leakage current and signifies that as a fault, he fault is displayed to the operator by means of a visual indicator and audible. The equipment can test a variety of cable at various voltages for which KV setting & sensitivity setting is provided.

The different Spark Testers manufactured are of Power Frequency (50Hz)

The Power Frequency Spark Tester is a Conventional Spark tester, being used by wire and cable manufacturers, since the start of cable manufacturing. These spark testers hold the efficiency gradient of approximately 85%. They leave a burn mark on the cable/wire at the point of fault, which makes it easier to locate and isolate / mend the fault.

MMX hot foil cable marking machine

The marking machine has been designed for hot marking with colour on extrusion lines for cables and pipes made of hdpe, pvc - pe - pp with a minimum dia of 15mm to a maximum of 300mm. The SAI Portal Line Takeup/Payoff Units auto traversing type is based on a self supported frame which hold two arms where the pointless are mounted. These machines are mounted on a rail system fixed in the floor. The complete machine can be moved side ways on those rails and also have the possibility to move only one arm at a time.

This is permitted by one time beam sliding on the supporting structure, to load different sizes of the reel. Each arms is fitted with an endless screw and a gear motor to allow vertical movement on each side.

The in line resistance annealer or wire annealing machine offered by us in the global markets is a system that is not directly connected to the wire drawing machine. These wire annealing machine latest and advanced machines are very efficient and are used in many wire and cable industries for annealing bare copper wires. In these wire annealing machine, the drawn wire is taken up from a pay off spooler instead directly from the wire drawing machine. This wire is then passed through an annealer and winded on the take up spool situated at the other end of this machinery.

SAI Wire Straighteners are used for straightening round or flat wire as well as wire with irregular cross sections. Each unit consists of two sets of 5 or 7 “V” grooved rolls set at right angles as illustrated to remove the material curvature on both planes. The rolls on Durant Wire Straighteners can be grooved to the exact diameter of the wire to be straightened or can be “V”-grooved (standard) for handling a wide range of sizes.
