• Emitter sends beam of pulsed infrared light

• The reflective attribute of the object determines the sensing range of the sensor

• It is best suited for making discrimination between black and white targets

• Objects are positioned and monitored with the help of single active sensor
  

This is extensively used for sorting and distinguishing of objects as per their volumes and extent of reflection. Retro reflective Reflex Sensor is also equipped with an emitter and receiver in the single house. The sensor is activated when the light is reflected by the triple prism reflector or reflecting Tape which is opposite to sensor. At the time of light beam interruption the sensor is switched. The reflex sensor is highly appreciated for its large sensing range and mat finish surface which is sensed separately with surface properties.

• High detection of stacked objects

• Control of randomly positioned objects on conveyor
