We are offering to our clients HCL absorption system which comprises an isothermal falling film type absorber and adiabatic tail-gas tower with a recirculation pump. The isothermal absorber can be in Poly block or shell and Tube Type.

The salient features are:

• Special distribution block

• Wier type distribution arrangement for equal distribution of process, Water and formation of a uniform liquid film in all holes

• Suitable for gases coming from batch-process

 

The system works in the following steps:

 

• HCL gas and the water film travel co-currently and the gas gets absorbed into the liquid film.

• The heat of absorption generated is continuously removed with the help of cooling / chilled water supplied on the service side.

• The bottom product from the main absorber is 30 to 33 %

• Hydrochloric acid unabsorbed gases from the absorber are absorbed in the tail gas tower with packing bed of ceramic / graphite packing media.

 

User can achieve a turn-down ratio of zero maximum up to 100% with the help of proper recirculation.

Sulfuric Acid Dilution and Cooling Units are mainly used For dilution of  concentrated sulfuric acid in fertilizer, battery and allied industries. Sulfuric Acid Dilution and Cooling Unit consists of a NRV,S mixing unit, followed by a cooler. Mixing unit is used for diluting concentrated sulfuric acid to the desired concentration and the cooler is used for bringing down the temperature of dilute acid to desired temperature by removing the heat evolved during dilution of concentrated sulfuric acid. unit is mounted on a  carbon steel base frame. The cooler can be either of Poly block type, Shell and Tube type.

• Multipass construction, Roubust,and compact Polyblock type cooler  with facility to add /remove blocks to increase/decrease surface area adds more flexibility to unit.
• Parallel multifeed on service side to avoid temperature – crossing or to maintain desired outlet temperature of dilute acid.
• Dilute sulphuric acid is severly corrosive at higher temperature, one wear/sacrifice block  is provided between inlet end header and intermediate chamber.
