About Us

SALAMAX EXPORT INTERNATIONAL (SEI) is a Merchant Trading firm established in the year 1975, headquartered in Mumbai [Bombay], India. Our office is located in Central Mumbai, an upcoming business District which has facility of storage etc. within the premises. SEI has its main export markets in the Middle East viz. Saudi Arabia, Republic of Yemen and The United Arab Emirates, and we are making steady inroads into East Africa viz. Tanzania and Kenya, Europe viz. Spain and The United Kingdom and into South Africa. SEI began its commercial operations with textiles and canned food products such as mango pulp and juice to the Middle East. This small beginning led to a wider scale of enquiries and by the early eighties we had expanded our operations to builders¿ hardware, light and heavy engineering goods and building materials. Over the next 10 years upto the 90¿s we had earned ourselves a steady reputation as suppliers of quality Indian merchandise at competitive rates. This further helped us to expand our scope of operations to industrial and drilling chemicals, Immitation & Costume Jewellary and Stainless Steel & Aluminum Utensils and Cutlery, Garden Tools, etc. Our clientele in the Middle East include ATRACO & Dowell Schlumberger in Saudi Arabia, Hayeel Saeed Anam in Yemen, Pure Fluids PLC in the U.K. & El Corte Ingles S.A. in Spain amongst other clients and direct buyers. We have our office in Dubai (U.A.E) through which we have better accessibility to the Gulf Region. Taking advantage of this, we are now diversifying into indenting of various products connected with Building Materials for our customers in U.A.E, Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region. Although the divisions are divided on the principles of the best man for the job these are not watertight compartments. SEI works more as a Matrix organisation with each member overlapping and assisting the other to make SEI a good business partner to deal with.
