About Us

A humble beginning by Lt. Shri Damodar Das Baranwal with 1 loom in 1942, the tradition of carpet manufacturing has been passed on to the third generation which maintains the same values and integrity of the business under the name of SAMARA Carpets Pvt. Ltd.

Samara was established in 2007. The company specialises in manufacturing exquisite handmade products which includes the traditional hand-knotted carpets; the modern hand-tufted carpets and the hand-woven range. Samara has over 50 employees and works with some 10000 artisans engaged in the weaving and processing of our carpets from India.
Samara’s registration with Kaleen, Rug-mark assures you of our full commitment in abandoning child labour.
Samara boasts of a clientele of some of the most reputed stores and catalogue companies across the globe.
Progressive, ethical and dynamic, we at Samara are constantly striving to please our customers and offer them the best quality products for a lifetime.
