About UsEstablished in 1994, Samvid Engineers is an Ahmedabad based Steel manufacturing and processing company. Through the years, our company has acquired technical expertise in the processing of various types of steel and manufacturing of taper rollers for bearings. Our customers include some of the leading bearing manufacturers including SKF bearings, NBC Bearings and Tata Bearings.
Samvid is a ISO TS certified company with offices in Ahmedabad and manufacturing plant in Kadi. The company is based three main values - leadership, quality assurance, and and customer satisfaction. By adhering to standards, we strive to promote organizational awareness in all of our employees.
The key products include processed bearing steel wires, and bearing rollers. The manufacturing team processes steel and produces rollers of high quality. The Quality Assurance team makes sure that these products are examined for physical, chemical and structural fidelity before which they are shipped.
The managing director of the company is Shailesh Shah. He also supervises both the roller manufacturing and wire processing plants. The organizational structure of Samvid is quite vertical starting with the directors, plant managers, processing engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality assurance engineers, the R&D team, and the operators. The administrative office in Ahmedabad consists of the human resources, finance and administrative operations teams. Each individual is assigned an ownership of his work, thus creating an atmosphere of autonomy and cohesion between various groups. |
Quality Policy / ProcessesQuality assurance checks are added between all cycles of the process. Steel is examined chemically, structurally, thermodynamically and several tests are conducted before which the material is allowed to go through to the next phase of the process.
We adhere to the quality processes recommended by TS 16949 and QS 9000.
Samvid maintains its quality processes aiming at zero defect in the end product. Processed wires and manufactured rollers both have to go through our testing department as they move through various phases of the processing cycle.

* Micro structure and Decarburization level - CG, PA, CN, CZ, Grain size, Olympus 1000 times magnification (as per SEP 1520 recommendation)
