Scope of Supply

A. Material Supply

Safe Earthing Electrode: - Safe Earthing Electrode is normally available in 1 Mtrs., 2 Mtrs. & 3Mtrs length, which can be decided on the soil condition and load application.

Back Fill Compound: - The quantity of BFC depends upon the soil condition. As per the standard practice, 1 Bag of 25 Kgs is Supplied with 1/2 Mtrs long electrode and 2 Bags with 3 Mtrs long electrode additional bag can be supplied if needed at Extra Cost with your prior intimation.

Recommendation: - In case of very Hard / Rocky Soil it is recommended to increase the depth of the bore to about 5 Mtrs with an additional bag of BFC. This is just a suggestion as the practice mentioned above has encouraging results. Many Electrical Consultants are recommending the same.

B. Installation

Boring: - As a standard practice we need to take a bore of 150mm Dia. for installation. For this, one has to arrange boring rig mounted on truck chassis. Arranging the boring rig may take a couple of days depending on the availability.

C. Civil Works: - We normally do not undertake civil works like construction of protective civil chambers of installed earth pits and connection of G.I. / Copper Strips to the electrode . However, this work can be carried out at an Extra cost .

Precaution: - As soon as the electrode is installed, the uppermost portion of the electrode should be protected with protective chamber with cover so as to prevent any damage.
