Unlike other manufacturers, SMI is an ISO certified company and proudly adheres to the ISO 9001:2008 system in accordance with TUV India. The foundry has been built specifically for the production of propeller and stern gear castings adhering to quality policy and objectives. Foundry has formulated quality systems and assurance program to bring about improvements in all areas of operations. All the ingots used in the manufacturing process undergo quality inspection and are certified. The quality of our patterns, metals and systems produce extremely accurate castings. SME manufactures a wide range of propellers weighing from 5 KG up to 1000 KG. Apart from its standard assortment of sizes, SME also makes propellers to customer’s specifications. Systematic meticulous efforts are taken to ensure that the product undergoes all the quality assurance processes. All the raw materials are procured from renowned vendors who have required certifications and above all- proven heritage. Our Quality wing specially takes care of the inspection and testing procedures.
