Shotcrete Accelerator (Silica-Crete) is liquid cohesion agent and a rebound reducer for the wet spray method with momentary gluing effect. It is added at the nozzle point wet shot creting machine, which instantly kills the slumps and concrete, sticks to the substrate and thus reducing the rebound loss.
Silica-Crete is ready to use accelerator, free of chlorides and other substances that promote corrosion, formulated to enhance the performance of shot crete and grouts. It increases the rate of hydration of hydraulic cement, shortens the time of set or increases the rate of hardening/strength development.
Uses:
- For sprayed concrete & mortar in galleries, tunnels, for retaining wall embankment & tank lining etc.
- To produce high quality, fast setting wet shot crete
- To secure loose & fragmented rock formation during construction
- To stabilize soil, rocks & to secure subterranean excavation
