Sensory quality plays a vital role in the acceptance of any food or beverage product in the marketplace. Since sensory characteristics are primarily responsible for the pleasure derived from the beverage at the point of consumption, the Technical Centre strives to develop products based on them.
In order to assess the sensory quality and blends of its products, Saraya Distillery has established regional laboratories. It has hired one of India’s leading quality assurance consultant and he brings his expertise to train and manage his team of chemists. These chemists are trained to profile the alcoholic beverages based on aroma and taste.

Saraya Distillery is one of the leading suppliers of Cheap Branded Liquor in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Besides, it is one of the leading suppliers of Extra Neutral Alcohol / Rectified Spirit in the country today.
Saraya Distillery has an established long relationship with McDowells & Company Limited for a number of years. Saraya Distillery supplies in bulk quantity, Extra Neutral Alcohol / Rectified Spirit to McDowell’s bottling units all across the country. We also bottle McDowell’s & Company products internally for supply in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) Saraya Distillery is expanding its reach to the consumers through its own brands. It has entered into various bottling tie-up agreements pan-india to produce its own range of IMFL brands. It is currently selling in 3 segments of market and is looking to enter the semi-premium & premium segments in the near future. With a sales & marketing set-up in place it is well on its way to meet its aggressive growth plans to have national presence by the end of 2008. Saraya Sugar Mills
Saraya Sugar Mills is a 6000 TCD capacity sugar mill located in Sardar Nagar, Gorakhpur, Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Historically, the eastern belt in Uttar Pradesh has been very rich in its resources of cane cultivation and availability making this unit a critical part of the sugar industry in the region. There is huge potential of expanding capacities at this unit as there is a large cultivable area and land available for expansion at its current location. Saraya Sugar Mills was set up in the early 1900’s and incidentally was India’s first sugar mill to be mechanized.
Saraya Sugar Mills has a total of 64000 hectares of cultivable land under its command area contributing extensively to the socio-economic growth in its area.
Today, internationally the global sugar outlook is extremely advantageous to the Indian Sugar Industry. India has seen its domestic sugar production fluctuate from around 12.5 to 19.5 million tones in the last two years, making some quantities of sugar available for export. Internationally, the prices of sugar have also gone up giving this industry an extremely bright outlook in the coming decade.

Saraya Aviation
Saraya Aviation was incorporated in 1992 and is one of the oldest existing air taxi services in India. Our present Chairman Sardar Satyajit Singh Majithia has been the main driving force behind Saraya Aviation. An Ex. Commercial Pilot, he started flying in 1959 and has over 4½ decades experience operating General Aviation executive aircraft.
Currently the group own and operate two Beech Baron 58 aircraft and 1 King Air.
Besides operating its own aircrafts Saraya Aviation has been maintaining Piper’s Aerostars and Senecas, Beech’s Bonanzas, Barons and King Airs belonging to State Government and other Private operators.
With the Aviation business coming of age in India the time has come for Saraya to expand its fleet to include turbo props and executive jets. These would be required to meet the ever growing demand of high spending tourists, business executives, politicians, and emergency medical evacuations, a business in which Saraya has a long standing and an enviable safety record.
Saraya has dedicated hanger space at IGI International Airport and is approved by the DGCA for maintaining Aircraft up to King Airs. It also has counter space available at the terminal area for passenger handling.
On the horizon are plans to enter into pilot training, technician training, aircraft spare parts supply business, besides single party charter flying and providing maintenance services to other aircraft owners.
Peregrine Saraya Organics
Peregrine Saraya Organics was incorporated in 1998 to conduct, carry on and manage the business of manufacture of spirits and sugar. Its registered office is situated in the State of Punjab in India. Its allied business includes a road transport company mostly used in a captive capacity to transport raw materials like molasses and finished spirits as well.
Ambrosia Foods Engaged in manufacturing and exporting of liquors, aloe vera juice, fruit drinks, fruit squashes, rose syrup, fruit syrup, mango juice and orange juice and tasty syrups and drinks.
Atlas International Supplying and exporting red wine, white wine. Also offers agro products which includes cloves stems, cassia tora seeds, turmeric fingers, coriander seeds, groundnuts, sesame seeds, long grain white rice, red delicious apples and red grapes.
