Electronic Sensors

Proximity Sensors are available in models using high-frequency oscillation to detect ferrous and non-ferrous metal objects, and in capacitive models to detect non-metal objects. Environment-resistant, heat-resistant, chemical-resistant and water-resistant models are available.

Photoelectric Sensors detect objects, changes in surface conditions, and other items through a variety of optical properties. A wide range of sensors including diffuse-reflective, through-beam, retro-reflective and distance-settable sensors, as well as sensors with either built-in or separate amplifiers are available.

Rotary Encoders measure the number of rotations, rotational angle and rotational position. Linear Encoders are also available to measure linear movement.
