About Us

Saumil Impex Pvt. Ltd. is a corporate body registered in 1992, having professionally managed board of the directors, consists of technocrats and an Engineer. The company has so far successfully demolished about 34 ships at its ship-breaking yard at Alang, aggregating more then two lac tons. The company has gathered rich experience and has skilled team in the field of demolition.

Our Ship-recycling unit is located in world's biggest ship recycling yard, Alang, which is located in western cost of India , around 50 Km south of Bhavnagar city, Gujarat . 13 Km long Beach of Alang has world's second highest tide difference which makes it suitable for Ship Recycling activity.

Our Ship-recycling yard has a 72 M wide sea front. The yard is suitable for beaching of high draft vessels and up to VLCC Ships. Over the years we have recruited staff who have made the ship demolition process environment and labor friendly. Safety of the workers has always been topmost priority of the management.
