Silcorel Polydimethylsiloxanes
The general purpose grade Silcorel® Dimethypolysiloxanes (DMPS) are
available in viscosities of 350 and 1000 centistokes. The Silcorel® DMPS
can be applied directly to the surfaces through dipping, spraying or wiping
in order to provide lubricious and/or hydrophobic coating.
DMPS can also be emulsified and diluted to the desired silicone fluid
concentration (such as 0.1% to 2%) in a non polar solvent. Silcorel®
DMPS (GP) do not require any particular precaution for use. Material Safety
Data Sheet is also available on request.

Mould Release Emulsions
Silicone emulsions are excellent mould release agents mainly for rubber and
plastic industries. These emulsions offer inexhaustible possibilities for
making moulded or cast materials.

Characteristic
Silicone emulsions can be diluted with water before application. The most
suitable concentration is determined through factors like method of
application and shape of the mould.
Silicone emulsions are best distributed by spraying. However, manual
application by dipping or applying with cotton is also possible.

Thread Finish (SPX)
Thread finish (special lubricant for thread or SPL) is a yarn/thread
coating based on silicon polymer emulsion technology. This product is
manufactured by selected high quality of polymer and wax, which imparts
softness. Due to this, it ensures reduced friction between fibre/fibre and
fibre/metal. Thread finish SPL prevent heat while stitching high speed
machines therefore reduce breakages. The usual packing is done in 50 Kg &
200 Kg drum.

Application
Thread finish SPX is applied to the thread either by means of kiss roller
application method on the running yarn. The amount of active substance
applied to the thread should be around 1% - 3% calculated on its weight.
TL - 500 (Synthetic Finishing Oil for Sewing Threads)
TL-500 series includes thread lubricants & finishing oils, which are
based on synthetic polymer technology. These products effectively reduce
static heat build up during high speed stitching. They also help in
improving the shine and lustrous finish to the yam. TL-500 fluids are an
ideal substitute for silicone emulsion. The products from this series are
offered in a packing of 50 kg - 200 kg.

Application
TL-500 series is applied to the thread either by means of godet rolls on to
the running yarns. The amount of active substance applied to the sewing
thread should be around l%-3% calculated on its weight.
Silicon Grease
Silicon grease consistency remains unchanged for a temperature up to 230
degree C. It has little tendency to blead even at high temp with practically
no oil separation even after prolonged periods. In addition, it becomes
slightly thinner when subjected to mechanical stress such as stirring,
reverting to their original consistency after prolong standing. Silicon
grease has good adhesion to a variety of surfaces.
