| The general purpose grade Silicone Oil are available in viscosities of 350 and 1000 centistokes. The Silcorel DMPS can be applied directly to the surfaces through dipping, spraying or wiping in order to provide lubricious and/or hydrophobic coating. DMPS can also be emulsified and diluted to the desired silicone fluid concentration (such as 0.1% to 2%) in a non polar solvent. Silcorel DMPS (GP) do not require any particular precaution for use. | Amino Silicone Fluids are noted for their excellent textile finishing properties, imbuing fibres & textiles with an in comparably soft, permanent handle. They owe this ability to the affirmity of the amino groups to the fibres, which promotes optimum orientation of the silicones on the substrate, thus guaranteeing an ideal soft handle. Amino silicone softners, those bearing amino ethyl and amino propyl groups have yielded the best results. The amino groups are linked to the polymer by short hydrocarbon chains & are against the hydrolysis & high temperature. Amino silicone fluids are generally characterised in terms of amine value, viscocity & reactivity.
