Cathodic Electro Deposited Coating Plants

Cathodic Electro Deposited Coating (CED) Cathodic Electro Deposited Epoxy Coating plants are more compact, process relevant, environment friendly and have less operation costs in operation to larger plants.

Specifications:

• Ranging from 600 litres to 50000 litres

• Capability to deliver customized larger plants of 50 KL capacity

Features:

• Running costs much lower than of conventional system

• Used extensively in automotive industry

• Use of water based paint

Process:

• In this process, component after phosphate pre - treatment is dipped in bath of (paste & emulsion)

• CED chemicals & given an electric charge

• Coating gets deposited on component

• Component is removed from bath, washed & then baked

CED line consist of following stages:

• CED

• Permeate rinse 1

• Permeate rinse 2

• DI water rinse

CED lines are also provided with the provision of pre filtration, ultrafiltration, chiller, rectifier & anolyte system.

Equipment Suitable for SME Segment:

• For SME segment square transfer type system is most economical (popularly called Transporter System or Transporter Wagon)

• Products duly loaded on jig are carried from one tank to other in a pre-programmed sequence & pre - defined time

• Oven can be electric, diesel or gas fired

• Diesel or gas fired ovens come with stainless steel heat exchangers (forced convection is must for oven (EMT 165 Deg. C))
