About Us

The Scan Group is a renowned name in Iron and Steel Industry backed by 15 glorious years of experience in steel making. The group was founded by Shri Sawarmal Gadodia under whose stewardship the group grew from strength to strength. Scan Steels Limited is the flagship company of scan group of industries and represents integrated Steel Plant located at Rajgangpur, Orissa. It was the vision of the founder, Shri Sawarmal Gadodia that in the year 1990 the first stone was driven into the soil of Rajgangpur, Orissa. In 1996 the visionary entrepreneur looked beyond the horizon of Ramabahal village in Orissa and saw the cities of tomorrow, rising to the sky with spines of steel. He saw an automatic rolling mill and an induction furnace in which he know the future would be forged.
