Happenings / News / Press CoverageNews: MCPP News on web On 17th September 2009, Jaypee Associates Limited (JAL) awarded a contract to Schenck Process India to design, engineer, supply and commission two Modular Coal Preparations Plants (MCPP), each of 1 mtpa capacity, to be set up at Churk in U.P. and Turki Siding in M.P. The order was decided on the basis of Schenck Process’ superior technology, flexibility of design, high plant efficiency, low consumption of consumables and world class equipment. Schenck Process Group specializes in providing process know-how and possesses competence to set up Coal Washeries on turnkey basis. It is credited with having set up world’s largest single location Coal Washery in China. Memorandum of Understanding signed by Schenck Process India, Schenck Process China & Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd. On 14th January 2009, Schenck Process India, Schenck Process China and Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd., (HEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly participate in Coal Washery Projects of Coal India and other Public Sector undertakings. With its strengths in implementing turnkey projects for core Sector Industries, HEC will be the prime bidder for Coal Washery Projects. Schenck Process is a technology leader in coal washeries and has set up the largest single location Coal Washery in the world in China. Schenck Process will be a technology partner, design/engineering provider and equipment supplier in the Coal Washery Projects under this MOU. The MOU combines strengths of HEC and Schenck Process to bring high technology, modern and efficient Coal Washery processes to Indian customers.
